Huge serving sizes ands kids eat for free. The fish was ok but the star was the roasted plantains for me. They were excellent. There wasn't really a wide assortment when we go there. The service was good and there was a nice outdoor area to eat.

Pure vibes at Duck's. Roast fish and plantin was awesome and sooooo delicious. My team and I really enjoyed it. After eating we sat there with our drinks and good vibes just chilling and knocking ah few drinks with ducky himself. Total strangers to each other. Nevertheless the true spirit of the ppl of sweet t&t once again showed itself. Unexpected but not unusual to our culture, ducky closed his business and came out with a king fish properly seasoned, ah firecracker, gastank and coconut bake flour already kneeded. And there we were. Total strangers liming together frying fish and roasting coconut bake all for free. We had the drinks he had the eats. A different swing on our valentines night. Thank you ducky for the wonderful experience of the love that the ppl of our country has to offer.

Roasted Red Fish with Corn and Plantain
A little on the pricey side but so worth it. Some of the best and freshest seafood, freshly prepared right in front of our eyes, cooked on a slow wood fire.
The lobster was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever had and the owner was very friendly and personable.
A great place to eat and a must visit next time I’m on that side.

Had the opportunity of eating at Ducky's today.
We were warmly welcomed as we approached the serving area.
We chose our order and awaited our boxes.
The wait was short inspite of there being a small scattered crowd in accordance with the Covid protocol.
The taste was definitely delicious. The sauce was tasty and complimented the fish perfectly and lime slices were available as well as sea salt.
The box was filled so it dubbed for lunch and dinner. Money well spent
I enjoyed my experience at Ducky's and would definitely recommend.
Red snapper or lobster seasoned well wrapped in fig leaf on the outdoor grill.
Bess!!!
Great service and parking. It dont matter how far u come from its worth the drive.
The fish was nice but about burnt to the bottom. The lobster was very much over cooked and pricey. Disliked the fact there were no sides and hardly any tables. Service was good, waited 35mins for my order. Just Remember to hover around a table if you want to eat there; they were limited tables because a lot of families were there. Try duckys on a week day, less people. But all in all it was a good experience, it was about time with friends and loved ones on the journey and about internal tourism.
Food is good and the service is great once you've figured out the process. But the process itself is a bit convoluted. Nevertheless great food, no drinks or if there were drinks available it was not easily spotted.
5 Star service from the moment we came to the counter, Ducky himself came to ensure we were treated well and made us feel at home! We will definitely visit again! Thanks again Ducky's!
I'm not sure if it was because it's a Sunday, but this was not what I expected at all. I arrived around midday to a crowd of people that had been already waiting for an hour - some more than that - and nobody there to attend to them. 15 minutes later, a man that may be the owner, cane out and advised that we needed to write our names and orders in a book, then wait for our orders. When asked about their offerings, he advised that he had fish but no lobster yet, and the wait time would be at least an hour for the fish and a further two hours for lobster. Suffice it to say, quite a few customers complained at that point.
Having drove all the way from Santa Cruz, we decided to endure the wait and pass the time at the bar across the road. To our surprise, lobster and fish meals were also available at the bar (next door, on the same compound), and there were groups of people there that had the same idea in mind as we did, to pass the time there. Interestingly, two different groups told us they were there since 10AM. Given the possibility that our wait time would most likely be more than the hour we were told, we took a look at what was available there (the bar). Fish was being cooked, with lobsters waiting in trail. It looked and smelled good enough, plus it was slightly cheaper. My group (10 in total) discussed the option of eating there, and agreed to order there, rather than wait for Ducky's - by this time it was about 12:45 - and we cancelled the Ducky's order. Keep in mind, we ordered from Duckey's at 12:15.
At 1:30 we received our orders and enjoyed our meals. Meanwhile, the two families we met at the bar, hadn't received their orders from Ducky's yet, although they ordered before us. They both, along with many of the folks across at Ducky's, chose to cancel their order with Ducky's and buy across the street. It's a good thing they did, because they all received their meals and ate, before those that decided to wait on Ducky's. For those that waited, I hope their meal was exceptional and worth the wait for them. But the meal we had was tasty enough, that in mind waiting for Ducky's could not have been justified. There's nothing that would justify driving 2 hours, then waiting a further 2 to 3 hours after ordering, for a meal.
Will I go back someday to try Ducky's? No... at least not a planned trip. If I happen to be in the area, I'd probably give it a try. I don't even know why I gave a one star rating. I never ate at the place and the experience was awful.
I have added photos of the lobster, but forgot to take pics of the fish meals.
