Pie was nice and hot. It's all flakey pastry if that's your thing. I prefer the bottom to be shortcrust. The creamy chicken mushroom pie was good. Thick creamy sauce and a good amount of mushrooms. The chicken was shredded finely and hard to tell how much you were getting in your $6.50 pie. I know inflation is a thing but would be better if it was chunks so it feels like it's actually chicken. Went early Friday morning to buy my lunch there was only a couple of sandwiches in the case so I asked the person on the till if they were left over from the day before. She replied that they were fresh. Ate them at lunchtime and found them dry and the bread hard they certainly were not fresh

Update dec 2023 Unfortunately got a bacon egg pie this morning with a massive chunk of shell. Extremely disappointed. Great pie in terms of pastry spot on, gravy and meat great quality, however i cannot get a non cheese meat pie or it's so so bland and cheese provides some saltiness that it lacks. Please season your pies just a bit more pleeaaase!!! Coming from an old pie lover as father was a baker with top nz pies 😃 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

While parking is an absolute nightmare it has a very good selection of food. I would suggest parking somewhere nearby and walking the short distance as they have good selection Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5
