We’ve been here several times and love starting off our happy hours or coming by for some good margaritas and food! The vibes are great and we enjoy the second floor patio when the weather is nice. Scott our bartender knew exactly what margarita I would enjoy based on my taste. Def recommend this place! Service Dine in Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Late night choice, on a Tuesday! Steve was the bartender in the second floor and man was he good. Very attentive, knows his Agave history (tequila or mezcal). I went with the special menu and chose the birria tacos. The flavors, the amount, the quality??? All really good! I will definitely visit again when given the chance. The atmosphere and the music were great on a Friday evening. They have a happy hour from 4-7 margaritas are 5$. I ordered the birria tacos and they were good. Our bartender Scott did a great job taking care of our table, the mexican candy shots we ordered were delicious. Would definitely recommend if you’re downtown. One of my favorite spots downtown. They have so many flavors of tequila and the serve food super late. Try the fajitas! You won’t regret it. This experience was a strong 4 stars, mostly based on my food & drink and the atmosphere. We were a party of 4 that went in at around 5pm on a Saturday. These days, you seat yourself & order through an app. If you are not an iPhone user, you have to download the app which I found very annoying. Two of our party ordered carne asada tacos, one ordered a ground beef burrito, & I ordered the chicken enchiladas. The carne asada tacos were ok but had way too many raw onions. The burrito was entirely eaten so must have been good. My chicken enchiladas were absolutely delicious. The think green tangy sauce was lick the plate good & the Spanish rice was excellent too. The refried beans had good texture but were a little bland. I ordered the pumpkin infused margarita with a sugar rim. It was perfect. Not too sweet and absolutely delicious! The music was very loud & clubby for 5pm. We have not been to El Big Bad in awhile. The food & margaritas are still excellent but we were not a fan of the changes to the service. We will go again eventually, but would go much more often if the service environment was better. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing themed place, only missing enough crowd. Maybe it was due to the late time of the day, but the exterior facade is just historic New Orleans style. Also, the guy at the upper bar was very friendly & attentive. The Chips & Queso were just the right crisp & thickness. I wish some of the expensive restaurants I have been to lately serve the same chips rather than their hard-to-chew ones. The burger was almost the perfect Tex-Mex Burger I have been looking for, for a while now. But truly, it wasn't bad at all. The crispy Baha Fish Taco was also crispy & fluffy. The sauce & garnish were just right. Finally, the balcony was looovely. Mexican food, my husband don’t drink alcohol but we came for the food only, I did have one mule cocktail it was good, the steak tacos and quesadilla was good and the churros also. Music was ok but it was Tuesday. It was a little empty but it was the only place open till midnight so it was better than nothing. Waitress was super attentive, fast and friendly. She did gave us good service. It’s on the rooftop but we sat inside. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Pretty cool 3 story place with outdoor seating as well. Strong but good margarita. Had a really good burrito and definitely recommend. Whole place has a cool vibe to it. Definitely coming back to try more food soon. Parking can be as it is typical of downtown but shouldn't be too bad. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
