It's been a minute since I've eaten at El Camino Sky. I came with a group of co-workers after work. I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the food. It came out hot and quickly and was really good. The wait staff was good, he kept our orders separated and responded quickly to requests for water and so on. The decor was a little dated but other than that it was a good dining experience. Had dinner here tonight with a party of 30.. yes, 30 people. We were upstairs and had one server for the whole night. Gabby (our server) absolutely positively could not have done better. There was no way to even count how many times she ran up and down the stairs with her hands full, with a smile on her face as well. The food was great, and our experience was genuine. I love this place. With that said, sitting at a table next to off the clock staff made my waitress spend her time at the table next to me. She didn't even realize until 30 minutes past that my food never came. Told me that she would be at the next table if I needed her. So I had to get up and go over when I needed something. I have no problem with your staff that is off the clock hanging out there but what it did was draw six other employees to the table and most of them barely left. It is never taken longer than 10 minutes to get my food in this restaurant and the fact that it took 30 minutes and nobody even recognized kind of blows my mind.
