We went to the restaurant for brunch, the food took forever and the waitstaff were confused. The food is standard and a bit pricey. The atmosphere was pleasant and the view of the pyramid very nice.

Great service, good location, pedestrian food. It’s very boring and not appetizing at all. And given the cost, go to the many other amazing restaurants near by

This hotel is beyond pet friendly, from the stencil on the outside to the various paw prints imprinted in the tiles and pillars, it was charming to know my dogs were beyond welcome. Everything was perfect about our stay, from the drinking water provided in beautiful pitchers, to the small private pool, to the outdoor patio furniture where we enjoyed the complimentary coffee in the morning. I would not think of booking elsewhere if I visted Tepoztlán again.

This place was a disappointment. The food was average at best. The only thing positive for the food was the presentation. The started us off with a some complimentary chips that were stale and looked like cheap Doritos. I had shrimp tacos that contained maybe $1.00 worth of thawed out shrimp. The plating looked nice, but the food was hardly warm. I had to wait a while for the server to come back and check if everything was okay. So it took a while to get my plate reheated. This was almost a $15.00 dish that was really worth only a few dollars. The only other thing positive about this place was the view of the mountain.

This is a beautiful property but there were certain things that kept me from giving it a 4 star rating. The shower drain didn’t work properly. There was construction work being done on our roof all day, making it impossible to sleep or relax. Rooms are big with a private back patio. But I found it odd the doors to the patio didn’t have a lock. And the lock to the front door didn’t work well. They have a beautiful restaurant that we did eat at, however it closed at 6:30pm. Wish they were open later.

Amazing place to see the Tepozteco from while you enjoy the food. Had lunch there. Kind of pricey I feel. But the food is very good.

Great place right in the center of Tepoztlán with a nice view of the Tepozteco.

Not sure where the positive reviews here are coming from but we did not have a great experience here. From the door where two guys were just hanging out sitting, almost laying down, as they took down our name for reservations. They were only missing a pillow. Didn’t even bother to sit go straight much less stand up to greet or talk. On the food side of things it’s not much better news. We ordered a couple of appetizers only and we found the flavors very bland. Same with salsa, nothing special or exciting. So we decided not to order anything more and try another place instead. I will say that the decor and atmosphere is nice. The lush greenery and the view is quite nice. Staff is available and nice but not much they can do about the chef or the kitchen.
