I was feeling nostalgic and found this great Puertorican restaurant. I live in the US and coming back to visit the island found this Excellent authentic Puertorican food. The service was excellent and treated us like family or long time friends. My sons and family loved everything we ate. And we ate a lot. Even took some home. We will definitely be visiting and dining-in often. This is an experience you will have to try. Once you do, you will be a regular. Enjoy!

The food was super good. We were able to eat at the restaurant next to the pool. El Nido is located in the hotel, but they have different owners. The chef is the best. I ordered 12 wings in a combination of the 2 flavors 6 and 6. Super delicious, and my wife ordered a mofongo stuffed with Creole shrimp that was super delicious. I just had one bad experience with the guy I was serving. They have a sign that said Happy Hours that started at 4 pm and below it said Food Special and the prices of the specials. I ordered at 3:15 pm when I went to pay. I saw that the price was very high for the wings that were available. 75 cents per wing. He tells me that that price started with the Happy Hours, and I told him, but the message was separate. He fixed the price for me but he came to eat at 4:10 pm the wings were cold but good. The group of Americans, who were 5, ordered after me, their order came out before mine. But the hardest thing was that my ticket was $32 with change and I gave her a 10% tip for giving her something, thinking that the tip was divided with the chef, it was $10.70, it was very strange and sad. I told him and he was very bland. That's stealing from customers. The Lazy Parrot Hotel has nothing to do with this. I let the hotel administrators and the girl at the front desk know.

La comida super buena pudimos comer en el restaurante que está al lado de la piscina El Nido está ubicado en el hotel pero tienen dueños diferentes La chef es la mejor yo ordené 12 alitas en combinación de los 2 sabores 6 y 6. Super deliciosas y mi esposa ordenó un mofongo relleno de camarones a la criolla super rico. Solo tuve una mala experiencia con el muchacho que estaba atendiendo. Tienen un letrero que decía Happy Hours que empezaba a las 4 pm y abajo decía Food Special y los precios de los especiales yo orden a las 3:15 pm cuando voy a pagar veo que el precio era muy alto de las alitas que estaba a .75 centavos por alita. El me dice que ese precio empezaba con el Happy Hours y yo le digo pero es que el mensaje estaban separados. El me arreglo el precio pero viene a comer a las 4:10 pm la alitas estaba frías pero buenas. El grupo de americanas que eran 5 ordenaron después que yo su orden salieron primero que la mía. Pero lo más fuerte fue que mi ticket era de $32 con cambio y le di un 10% de propina por darle algo pensando que se divide la propina con la chef fueron $10.70 fue bien extraño y triste. Se lo dije y se quedó bien soso. Eso es robar a los clientes. El Hotel Lazy Parrot no tiene que ver nada con esto. Yo les dejé saber a los administradores del hotel y la muchacha del front desk.

It really is a beautiful hotel, pool area is stunning and has nice views. All areas that we saw were very clean. However, Our breakfast for two people literally took over an hour to receive and the restaurant area was not crowded at all. Food was just ok-my husband ordered the boricua and I ordered the mangu. Both plates were underwhelming-i was shocked bc all of the reviews gave 5 stars and I definitely had higher expectations. Beautiful place , great atmosphere but unfortunately we didn’t have a 5 star experience.

Better food then restaurants around the hotel! We got breakfast here almost every single morning and dinner multiple times over our 7 day stay at the hotel. Mofongo was great & so was the Chorizo with wine. Props to the chef & shout out to Edgar & Angel the best bartenders!!!

Stayed recently with husband and teenager. The food at Nido was fantastic. I loved the shrimp and tostones. My teen loved the chicken bites with fries. We all shared nachos. Plus, you get sunset and island breeze.

This place is tremendous. The food is delicious, the staff is family friendly and the atmosphere is fantastic. I can see myself coming back and making sure to come and stop by and return the love I have gotten from this place and staff. I highly recommend this to all.

The best food I had during my stay in Rincon. Staff and food were excellent. Worth a visit even if not staying at the Lazy Parrot.
