To be able to really appreciate this place you have to have been from this neighborhood or coming here for years. From 12 years ago when I began visiting Puerto Rico regularly this bar has expanded and maintained itself accordingly. You must understand this is a bar that was built on a piece of land carved out of a mountain. If you can understand this lifestyle then you will understand the 5 stars. The service is great for the amount of people who fill this bar up. This is a well known stop for horseback riders going up the mountain so it's a great spot to catch a few horses. Everyone is extremely friendly and like family and would give you the shirt off their backs if necessary. Best of all the drinks are ice cold is you want it that way. The pool tables are in need of maintaining but I haven't seen them to be honest since after Maria but given their track record I'm sure they've taken care of it.
