They have the best empanadas! We had them last year here and came back for more. So far we have had empanadas from seven different places this trip. We had their pulpo, mixed seafood, pollo, bistec, and pizza. The rest of their food is also great. We also had the carne frita and tostones de pana. All homemade food. Great prices too. Service is island speed but super nice employees. Medalla was super cold. Found it on Google maps while driving and went for lunch! Great local seafood spot, friendly people and yummy food! The fried fish platter and the shrimp empanadas were fresh and tasty! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great food. Probably the best in the area for solid typical Puerto Rican food. We arrived at 7 PM and there were two families there besides ourselves. Service was cordial, prompt, & attentive. Recommended to anyone. Like music is played. It does have a small bar area. It appears family-friendly.

This place is a quaint dive bar if you’re looking for ice cold drinks and stuff para picar. I took a star off only because when we’d order something with a * by it, it would 2/3 times be unavailable. They mark on their menu with an * what’s available that day. But probably because we visited at 3:30PM, those items sold out. Everything we ate was delicious - the rice and beans, empanada de conejo, surrullitos, mofongitos. All very good and flavorful. I’d come here again if I was in the area.

Love that place. The owner is always around and very friendly guy. Service is fast and efficient, and you cannot beat the price. Food is good and portions are huge.
