4.5 overall, a fun, lively place. Menu, food and drinks is extensive. The service was responsive, helpful and prompt. The food was very good, nice flavors, good variety and not too much. It's a family place, a bit loud but to be expected. I recommend and I'd go back. I ate here on the 29th of July. In the past, I have written a review on its sister company in Port Orchard Wa. As always, the food was to our tasting. The portions sizes were acceptable; you did not leave the table hungry. The staff was polite, friendly, and professional. The establishment was pleasing to the eye (Very colorful). The only one thing I was confused with was with the complimentary chips and salsa. At Port Orchard, their establishment brought a little bowl of refried beans, along with the red salsa and cabbage salsa, here they did not offer it. As for their restroom, please keep in mind you will have to leave the establishment and go down a hallway to use the facilities. Other than that, I enjoyed eating there and if I am in the area, I would return. Would I recommend this establishment to my friends and family — of course I would! This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Gig Harbor. It's owned and operated by a local family. The food is delicious and portions are generous. We have frequented this restaurant regularly over the 20+years we've lived here. Excellent service too. We highly recommend El Pueblito. Dinner and Karaoke! We sat in the bar and enjoyed a delicious meal and especially the free chips, salsa, beans and beer $7.99 for 25oz of modelo! The refills kept coming and the entertainment was so much fun! Karaoke DJ Steve kept the crowd going and we lost track of time. It was a full bar and we shared our table because it was just that welcoming of a community. We can’t wait to make another trek over the bridge in a Friday night in the future for date night! Very sweet little place, yummy food , nice staff and fun decor. I loved all the colors and that we could see the water from the window we dined at. I would go back again. I didn't have time to check the other shops, but they seemed intriguing too. I didn't love the parking , but it wasn't horrible either. This was my first visit to El Pueblito, after living in the area for quite some time. Many friends have recommended that I check it out, so we went ahead and tried it. In addition to a warm atmosphere, the staff was very inviting and pleasant. The food was amazing and it was very impressive that everything was made to-order. My meal was flavorful and delicious. Very nice little resturant downtown, highly recommend. Have been serving wonderful food for over a decade, truly the best thing in the entire city. This place is superb! The staff were extremely attentive and very timely with our order and all extras. The food was seriously amazing. So good, that we choose to go back for lunch the very next day. I honestly haven't had this quality and authenticity since my military days in the south. Portions are very large and most likely can serve 2 people. We will definitely be coming back during our travels in that area. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food, this is your place. Try it, you'll be happy you did.
