The owner, Najib, is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the staff are always helpful and attentive. The menu is based around couscous, with a variety of different meats, vegetables, and spices to choose from. The couscous itself is cooked to perfection, with light and fluffy grains and flavorful sauces. The tajine dishes are also excellent, with tender meats and citrus flavors. The desserts are all homemade, including baklavas, makrouts, and a special baklava cake for birthdays. The tea is also served in traditional style, with mint leaves and no sugar, so you can sweeten it to your own taste. Overall, El Salam is an amazing restaurant with great food, excellent service, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!
