It's a completely different dining experience compared to the original Goodfellas. For me personally, I like the original much better. Encore is beautiful inside but misses the mark on food. Very pricey too. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

We went here to listen to live music. The place is beautiful, the atmosphere, food, drinks and service was great. I jad the lobster ravioli, my fiance had chicken parm and we order fried mozzarella for appetizer. I am not big on red sauce from most places, their's was good. No complaints. Highly recommend. First time here but have always heard great things about goodfellas…They did not disappoint! Very nice place low key chill vibe, the live music gave dinner that nice touch of enjoyment while the food rolled out. Drinks came first, I Had a Smokey Mango my lady a Pomparade, well made drinks ! New York style calamari very fresh, I had the pork chops the wife had the chef special chicken dish. Pricey but worth it! We will be back for sure, Also we ate upstairs! By far the worst service I have experienced in my entire life. Had a reservation and they said they "overbooked" so we had to wait, and then when we finally were sat we waited almost two hours after placing our dinner order before the tables nearby us were getting their food when they had been sat after us. When raising this concern to the manager she checked in with the kitchen and told us our ticket was lost and they're making it right away. We asked for it to go since now we were pushing 3 hours at the restaurant and hadn't even gotten our entree. They then gave us the bill and it had NOTHING taken off. Our waitress Jordan was lovely and did her best given the circumstances. Honestly I felt bad for her that her place of work was dropping the ball so badly because I could tell she was a good server and sweet person. The food that we did get to try (just our app and salad) was decent. I then asked them to take all the food off the bill and they can keep our leftovers. They still charged us for our drinks and snatched our takeout bag off the table. Absolutely insane experience, proceed with caution if you are interested in this place. We come here for birthday dinner. The price is bit high but the food is great! Especially just come back from traveling and tried different bad food😂 The short rib ravioli is really good tho it doesn’t look so pretty, the lamb chop is also tasty, but still a lot of meat remain on the bones can’t get off it😅 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Love it!!! Wow, just wow. I love the complete updated and new inside. We sat upstairs and had incredible live music throughout our dinner. Service was exceptional, thank you, Mike! We started with a raw fish appetizer that was on special and fried calamari. For dinner, we had the porterhouse for 2, cioppino, and the lamb chops. Yummy!!! There was so much seafood in the cioppino, and the tomato broth was delicious. For dessert, table side baked Alaska!!!! It's just incredible. I wish I could share details of the food, but we didn’t get that far. Had a reservation for 7:30, and were told our table would be ready in 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, 45 minutes later, we were still not seated and were given no updates from the staff. We weren’t the only ones this happened to, as the line or people waiting on their tables grew longer and more frustrated. Ultimately, we walked out with no apologies from the staff. We have been coming to goodfellas since we were kids, about 15 years and it quickly became our favorite place to celebrate all of the important occasions in our lives. My husband and I held goodfellas on the highest pedestal, never poor service or bad food. Loved it so much. We couldn't wait to check out the new renovation and he had a birthday recently so I made reservations for a Wednesday night. The new look is stunning, love the downstairs bar area! We did sit upstairs to listen to the live music, his name was Michael and he was very friendly, introducing himself to all of the tables. That's all of the good, now here's what makes me a little bit sad. The charm of the old goodfellas is gone. There's no reference to the old restaurant left in the building, one Tony soprano painting downstairs can hardly carry the "goodfellas" reference in their namesake. One of my favorite parts of eating at this restaurant was the bean salad they'd give you as you first sat down. I've had two babies over that 15 years and each time I was pregnant, I would crave that so badly. It was so delicious, simple, such a wonderful touch. They no longer do that. They also don't give you the piece of bruschetta like they used to. I know they want to present as an upscale restaurant so some of those comfy, homey touches won't exist anymore, but I'll miss it. My husband ordered the pork chops which he's had many times over the years and he said it was different. Not bad, not great but different. I had the ladies night offerings, lobster ravioli as my entree and it was very tasty. All in all, we will probably be back, but it is a bit sad for us to have quite literally grown up with the old Goodfellas, and that it no longer exists. Rarely do we find a restaurant that we both LOVE, and it does feel as though that wonderful restaurant we once knew and spent so much time frequenting, is no more.
