Really cute little coffee shop with a boho vibe! It was super crowded when we visited and there were no seats available, so unfortunately we had to get our coffee and pastries to-go. The espresso in both of our drinks was horribly burnt to the point of making them undrinkable. We also weren't offered the option to get any of our baked goods warmed up, which is pretty standard in most places. Such an adorable local coffee shop. I cowork here all the time. The owner and staff are all incredibly friendly and the coffee is great! It's a really community atmosphere. It's on the smaller side, which I like. There are a couple of different seating options between small tables and a community couch area. It can get loud depending on the time of day, which is part of the charm, but if you're trying to focus you'll need headphones. I have never had a hard time finding a place to sit, but I'm usually here on weekdays. Overall, it's my new top pick for local coffee dates and coworking. Great addition to the neighborhood. Love having a quality place like this close by. Really nice owners and staff, great coffee, comfy seating, good music/art/atmosphere. Such a special place! Cozy and warm with delicious coffee and a great variety of bakery items. Loved the zatar croissant and the coffee cake muffin. First cafe review in 43 years. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve been to Eremita since its opening so I think that means I’m a regular. Never thought I’d be a mocha drinker..I’ve become one. Never thought I’d want a regular cup of hot coffee in the morning .. now I do.. from Eremita. Great coffee roasts, community, welcoming space.
