Eventide Specialties is absolutely superb! Kim is a creative genius who puts love, attention and expertise into everything she makes or sells! Want a high-end bottle of wine? Eventide! Want homemade chocolates? Eventide! Want a special gift for the cook in your life? Eventide! The list goes on and on! I could write a dissertation on her shop. She has everything from beautiful charcuterie boards ingredients and rated Italian pasta sauces and pastas to olive oils and vingegars. But don't forget the cheese case!! I dreeeeam about the cheese case :) The most unique cheeses from all over the world that you cannot find but at her place. You arrive as a stranger, leave as a friend and a bonus... a freshly baked baguette, fig jam, soppressata and brillat-savarin cheese!! I send all of my friends, family and guests to her and they always return again and again. Trust me - go to Eventide, you will not be disappointed. :)

A wonderful little shop (s) in Boothbay Harbor. Wine, cheese, bread and baked goods and all the gadgets that you never knew you wanted or needed. We loved it and will return.

If it can go in oil, you can find it here :) Pretty much a giant selection of infused oils. You can also taste test most if not all. Garlic infused and rosemary are fun touch to a meal.

Wonderful soups and sandwiches. Excellent bread and goodies. Great selection of oils and other delicious and beautiful things. Lovely shop run by lovely people. One of Boothbay Harbor’s treasures.

This quaint shop makes homemade baked goods, infused oils and balsamics. They have tasting of everything they sell. I purchased some products and am going back for more

I stopped here for a sandwich last weekend and was so pleasantly surprised! I asked for a cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato. The super friendly woman made it with three kinds of amazing cheese, a sweet ripe tomato, on delicious crusty bread. Served with tiny French pickles that I forget the name of, and two chocolate curls. I also got a peanut chocolate cookie that was absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients elevated a simple cheese sandwich into something really special. I shared it with my husband, who doesn't like cold cheese sandwiches, and he's still talking about it. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who loves good food and great service. They also are taking COVID19 seriously, so we couldn't go into the shop. But the woman who helped us couldn't have made it a better experience If she tried. Thank you so much. We appreciate you!

What an excellent bakery!! We got everything we needed for lunch down on the landing and it was amazing! This is definitely the kind of place we will seek out again. Very friendly staff as well.

The store itself is wonderful, a great selection. However, one of the employees approached my friend and I while we were looking at wine and literally stood in between us and the wine, directing us towards the other side of the store. We then noticed she was following us throughout the entire store and straight to the door when we left. We were planning on buying a couple bottles of wine but were quickly escorted out because the woman assumed we were stealing. Like I said, the store itself was great and we would've bought something if we weren't treated poorly by that woman.

The staff and owners at Eventide Specialties are friendly, available for questions, helpful and knowledgeable. They have items that are affordable, unique, delicious, fresh, and beautiful to the eyes. Their store is clean and decorative with a large variety of things for all kinds of palates. I love the temperature controlled wine cave! You never have to worry about your wine being spoiled or dull. Their bakery is like non other and their cheeses are top notch. Plan to spend some time when you visit as you will want to browse the beautiful items, including their kitchen gadgets and you will want to take some time to taste all the wonderful samples that are available. We have been in on several occasions in different times of the year and Eventide is always bright and fresh and consistent.
