Unassuming, small sushi place, with fast friendly service and great tasting sushi. Limited selection of sashimi and nigiri sushi, but what they have is tasty. Mostly, they have a large selection of rolls, and the California roll was excellent. They also have tempura, teriyaki, bento boxes, as well as other hot dishes. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Good sushi, friendly staff. The wait was longer than expected. Try the mushroom Crazy Bombs. Great take on deep fried mushrooms, with cream cheese filling and topped with slightly spicy sauce. Tiger Roll and Double Chrunch Roll are a must try. Huge selection of sake to choose from. It's a small place, take out went well. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+

Under new ownership (12/2023). They look to revamp the menu. We'll let you know what we think of any changes. Small sushi place we love to frequent. We sat in a table right behind the front door and it was perfect for our group of 3. The prices are reasonable and everything tastes good. I'm not typically someone who makes a negative post but I can't get over the length of time it took to be waited on and get our food. We waited over an hour to get our food & still didn't get our full order. We weren't a large party, just 2 people. The woman next to us had ordered a to-go order that took them almost 2.5 hours before they fulfilled the order. Several people had the same issue. We love FG Sushi! We order here a lot. 😁 Our favorite rolls are the Dragon Roll and the Mister Roll. Of course, spicy tuna is always awesome as well as your regular California rolls. We are sushi rice snobs. We make it at home the old fashioned way. The sushi rice here is just right, and that's hard to find. The fillings are great too, as well as the garnishes. This is the chicken katsu curry combo bento as apposed to the lunch bento. This curry is spicy and flavorful. I liked it a lot. I have never had curry with greenbeans and corn but they went well with the sauce. I would have given a higher rating but the katsu was more like an American style chicken fried steak and not white meat. It was over cooked. The spring roll tastes hand made which is great and the gyoza was alright, too. The salad had no flavor or style it was lightly seasoned; it was... blah. I really like this place because the owner was nice and the ambiance was inviting. I will come back and try something new and give it another shot. But for now, undecided.
