If you have not been to FAB yet you are missing out. What a fantastic place and such great food. Even if you just drop in for a quick ice-cream you are treated so well. Obsessed with the power decor! 💥 Pop art, retro diner feel with crisp white walls! We sat outside to enjoy the cool breeze on a hot summer day... Their Gelato, made from scratch, is amazing artisanal and you won’t find it in a supermarket! 🍧 usually I’m tempted by the sugary sweet chocolate & fudgey ice cream flavours. But thought I’d be adventurous and try grapefruit 🍊 , lemon 🍋 and I think it was basil 🌿 Totally amazing fresh and zesty, like a palette cleanser after a meal. Just note that they have to empty the display freezers during loadshedding, you will have to ask for the flavors you want and the staff fetch it from the freezers in the back that I assume run on generators 👍 Their salmon scrambled eggs is good, have to return to try their famous roadrunner 🍽 Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person R 250–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Eggs Benedict with Salmon

A great little diner in Linden. Excellent coffee, breakfast, and pasta. The breakfast and dessert menus are comprehensive. Breakfast is served all day, and they have sweet waffles and flapjacks on the breakfast menu. There's a really nice custom ice cream and sorbet menu. The blood orange and passion fruit sorbets are damn nice. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a sweet spot for a Sunday embellishment! You won't be disappointed with the waffle, its large, and freshly made - I watched it myself! Decor and vibe are spot on and the service was nothing but great! Great little gelato café. Surprisingly, I particularly enjoyed the vegan chocolate gelato, which was unexpectedly rich and creamy! Also enjoyed the blood orange sorbet. The selection of flavours is good without being overwhelming. The coffees and waffles are also brilliant. Parking is relatively abundant on the surrounding streets. Been there on a Saturday morning and had no issues finding parking within a short walk of the café.

Really enjoyed my trip to Fab! today. The decor almost makes you feel like you're on the beach in the Mediterranean. Lovely blue and white decor with attention to detail. As you walk in the first thing you see is the pristine ice cream case. Delicious and interesting flavors like blood orange, pistachio, lemon meringue etc. I tried a combo of Ferrero Rocher and biscotti ice creams on a sugar cone. It was heavenly! It's quite a bit more expensive than run of the mill ice cream. I paid R50 for 2 scoops on a sugar cone but it was well worth it and I will definitely be back!

Great feature on the 7th Street, Linden, strip of coffee shops and restaurants. The ice cream is presented in irresistible style and, even in winter, is seriously inviting. Good for breakfast. Close attention to plating rounds off the experience. Cool diner vibe too.
