They have samples, so you get to try some of the cheeses before you buy. They have other specialty food items as well. It is well known as a place to get an ice cream cone. My favorite cheese is the vampire slayer, a garlic cheese.

I can't visit Bandon without a stop at Face Rock. They make the best cheddar cheeses! In addition to traditional cheddars, they offer a variety of flavors, like Vampire Slayer (garlic), Pepperercorn Harvest, and In Your Face spicy pepper cheddar (my favorite is the smoked cheddar). I also grab a bag of cheese curds if they are in stock. They have a deli offering sandwiches and other fare like mac & smoked cheddar cheese. And, there is also an ice cream counter that serves ginormous scoops of Umpqua Ice Cream, and their shop has a large selection of wines, local confections, and gifts.

A must visit location. In my opinion, the absolute best cheese in the world. During the summer months, they have my favorite ice cream. Black licorice.

Our first time in the creamery in MANY years. Love being able to taste test the cheese and watch it being made. Left with some cheese curds and "Vampire Cheese" (garlic). Also had lunch that was very good. Clam chowder, pretzel sliders, and 7 Devils beverages. All were reasonably priced and good tasting. Sat at counter and watched traffic and people go by on highway 101. Young and friendly staff.
