Delicious food at affordable prices! The shawarma and gyro meats are both excellent. The sides (we sampled the potatoes, salad, tzatziki, mixed greens, and tahini) are also top-notch in quality. The saffron rice is the only exception - it’s ordinary but still good. The atmosphere is low-key and unpretentious. The guys working the till and making the food are all smiles and helpful. They’re willing to make simple substitutions to suit your taste - my friend asked for a double portion of rice instead of salad and they accommodated with no sweat. Very authentic Greek restaurant. A real hidden Gem of delight and the owner the Falafel King is from Jerusalem and has genuine Israeli menu options. Superb Quality. Highly Recommend. Let your tastebuds salivate because this place is a delicacy you will thoroughly enjoy. This Mediterranean gem offers the best cuisine in town. The service provided by the humble staff is exceptional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food itself is outstanding, with generous portion sizes that will leave you fully satisfied. P.S. We loved their Lunch Buffet!!!! Was a door dash pick up which wasn't ready, because it was confused for being ordered 2 times, but truly, the second order was to make up for the missing items the customer ordered...and put a bad damper on the other deliveries waiting to get delivered.... We ordered vegetarian combo platters. It didn't seem like much food for the price. Nearby competitors cost less and give you more food. Also. We ordered online so we could just run in and go. But they couldn't find our order on the computer (luckily I had an email confirmation) so the food wasn't ready and we had to wait while they made it. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Absolutely must visit. When I was younger my only expereince with them was their booth at the State Fair, the food was amazing and although they had a locayion in south minneapolis where I grew up, I never did visit but alway wanted to so we drove past this location and had to try. It briught back memories and the food is amazing. The hummus is so smooth and perfect. They have fresh pita chips, humus and fresh hot sauce (which wasnt super hot) for sample. The staff was super friendly, knowledge and welcoming. It was the owner's son and a female working the counter. Our meals were amazing. The balklava was great. This is a great location and will be a go to for us. The one note is the parking lot is very busy, people are always flying in and out, from the other two busy places of chipolte and jimmy johns. Handicap paroing is limited and the wgole beughborhood is full of lots of crazy driving maneuvers so if you arent from the area, take it slow and watch out.

The mixed grill and mixed shawarma were both very good and the baklava was excellent. Decor is nice for the price and the staff made good suggestions. Falafel king is a Halal Mediterranean cuisine restaurant in Bloomington. I went there for lunch and able to get my order quickly. I would definitely recommend their kofta Kabob plate and shawarma bowl.
