I need to start this review by saying that Farm Basket truly needs to do some serious work or they will lose their chance to re-enter the competitive chicken boom. My wife and I took a break in our evening to grab a bite to eat, and we really wanted to try Farm Basket, so we stopped in to have dinner. The inside is very basic, but it just seems a bit cluttered, and the attraction to sit down inside and eat is " just not there, and it feels like you're in a glass house on full display because of all the windows!" When you see the menu board, it is plain, and the lettering is too small. The food was blah, and the portions were oddly small. Three (3) pieces of chicken fit in a small food boat (1 breast and 2 thighs), with room to spare and the sides were packed into these tiny 1 ounce cups!. Now when it came to flavor, they missed it by a mile and that needs to be changed quickly, chicken tasted like something you would get in a frozen TV dinner, turkey for the Gobbler sandwich was too thickly cut and very lumber wood dry. The macaroni and potato salad have the same exact taste as what you will find at Walmart or Winco, but the coleslaw was actually decent because of the apple cider vinegar kick. Dinner rolls were sadly awful as well... In the end, the food and the atmosphere are that of a school cafeteria, and we will probably just drive by next time knowing that we tried, but won't be eating it again.
