I’ve been to this location three times now. I don’t know how it has a 4.7 star review. I should have listened to the other recent comments. The first two times I waited well over an hour for my food, for ONE person! The third time my wife and I went, we waited 45min and gave up. I didn’t even ask for a refund I was so upset, we just got up and walked out. All three times the restaurant was fairly empty with only 2-3 other people dining. They prioritized online orders over mine, even though those same orders were still sitting on the shelf when I left the restaurant. My family will NEVER eat here again. The subs are great but every time I’ve been to this location they are understaffed and it take forever to get your food even if you order in advance to-go. I’ve been there where I’ll order in advance and they won’t even start working on the order until you get there and it’ll normally take anywhere from 15-35 minutes just for a sub. As evidenced by other reviews on this page, and my own, calling out poor service is important. This was my first time here after living here a year, but that's really just because I don't think about having Firehouse. I should because the food is fantastic. The sandwich I bought tonight was delicious. But that is where the positive feedback ends, and the reason for 2 stars instead of 1. First, online ordering (and thus, rewards) are advertised everywhere, but they don't take online orders or rewards. Second, I walked in and was the only person at the counter. All 3 of the ladies working there were moving like slugs and kept looking over at me with apathy and a complete lack of desire to take my order. One of the ladies drew the short straw and rolled her eyes while wandering over to the register. She stood there, didn't welcome me, ask me what I'd like, nothing. Just silence. So, I started placing my easy order. A club sub with mustard only on wheat and a combo. The same person made my sandwich, moving at a snail's pace, hands me my bag, again says nothing. I leave and go out to my car. It's slathered in mayonnaise and missing the bacon. I return it, tell her that she put mayonnaise on it and forgot the bacon. She looked at another worker and said "I didn't make it". But...she did. The other person made it perfectly and, again, it was delicious. I know that hiring is a dicey situation now and getting quality candidates is likely almost impossible in Sherman, but as many other reviews say the same thing, slow, rude service, means that this place isn't likely to be here much longer if the owner continues to ignore it. Ordered Smokehouse cheddar and brisket sandwich. NO cheddar cheese. Only mayo. Wife hated it. My engineer fell apart into pieces. Soggy and lacked flavor. Total $31.70 for two terribly made meals Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Food is great. Just hope they didn't forget anything because they will not answer the phone even when you call 5 times to let them know they forgot something. Dear Sherman Firehouse Subs. Please review all managers asap as their lack of leadership was beyond apparent and actually negligent. After waiting 40 minutes for a two sandwich order with only 4 people in front of us is not acceptable by any standards. Ordered at 6:28 PM and not completed until 7:08 PM. You charged me full price for a Smokehouse Beef and CHEDDAR Brisket and your worker only put the brisket and BBQ sauce on the sand which. It was not the following per your website Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket™ USDA Choice beef brisket smoked for 16+ hours, melted cheddar, mayo, and Sweet Baby Ray’s® BBQ Sauce. The lack of leadership in the store, the lack of expediting any and all orders, the fact those of us waiting heard the workers say they did not know the sandwiches is a direct reflection of the mismanagement of this store. I will be contacting the headquarters as well. After reading the recent reviews if you reply with your cookie cutter answer then I know you do not care about addressing the issues that are apparent at this location. The only way to get a real response is that people stop going there and you lose out on business. I will then escalate this with Firehouse Corporate. They make a quality sub. The staff was friendly and made sure to go over all the toppings. (They like to put both mayo and mustard on, so be sure to check if you prefer otherwise.) The franchise owner Deanna is disgusting. She allows her other employees(Rodney and he’s a manager also) to bully and harass their coworkers. They were screaming at the store yesterday to the point the girl had to leave work. Inappropriate sexual relationships amongst the entire team as well as illegally deducting money from employees checks that they don’t like. They also love to wait time cards stating an employee wasn’t working just so they don’t have to pay them for actual hours worked. This location is trash. Filed a complaint with corporate as well. This location also refused to give the employee her last check and is retaliating against her. Be careful who yall play with bc it takes two seconds to hop on a consult with a lawyer bc of the amount of laws being broken here. Sure hope firehouse don’t play with their employees well being.
