My wife decided to pickup three burgers and fries from 5 Guys restaurant in Tuscaloosa AL. We all had bacon cheeseburgers! First off for three burgers and fries it was was $50.78. When she told me the price I said they better be some good burgers. My wife, our 16 year old son and myself tried their burgers and fries for the first time. We all agree there isn’t anything special about them, except they cost more. Actually enjoyed the fries more than the bacon cheeseburger I had. For the price and being nothing special about their burgers we probably won’t be back. We had to try them to see if we liked them. We enjoyed the burgers and fries but not the price tag. Five Guys has excellent hamburgers at Rolls-Royce prices. Each hamburger patty is cooked when ordered making for a very fresh and tasty experience. They have an extensive list of add-ons and condiments so each person can customize their experience. Don't get me started on the french fries - they are terrific. The employees cook small individual batches of french fries. The generous quantity that you are given can easily and quickly fill your appetite. Nothing beats hot freshly cooked fries except maybe their burgers. Five Guys also serves hot dogs, shakes and a vegetable sandwich if you are weird and want to outlive the rest of humanity. So at first I was skeptical because of the price but my daughter wanted to go for my Mother’s Day outing. The service nor the food did not disappoint! Cook to order, fresh and extremely filling. This burger challenges the true homemade burgers from appearance to taste. My daughter says the fries are are current new favorite. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50

Ordered my pickup order while waiting on line at Whataburger for 25 minutes. My burger and fries was hot and fresh before o could complete the review of the horrible service down the road. Customer server was on point and the hospitality was great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Five Guys never disappoint. At this location, the staff are nice enough and the food prep is good. I wish they would clean the soda machine screens a little more regularly, as well as the bathrooms, but otherwise we'll kept. My only complaint about the food is the bacon. We got burnt pieces of bacon in our last trip but they were so busy we didn't complain.

I ordered five guys specifically because they load you up with fries and I wanted fries. $7 for a large fry. We got 2 (along with 4 burgers. This was a $70 order) and they didn't even fill the cups. Not a single extra fry spilling over from the cup into the bag. I cannot begin to express my disappointment and disatisfaction with paying $14 for the equivalent of at most 4 potatoes. You'll pay $10 less for a Whataburger meal that comes with the same amount of fries and a drink. Not sure I see the value in Five Guys anymore.

I am normally a huge 5 guys fan. I have never had the one in Tuscaloosa but we ordered it for work and the food was terrible. 2 or the 3 ppl that ate it got sick from it.
