My first time here and it was very good. Grandson got the oxtails and loved it! Kids meal chicken nuggets, large portion. Fried pork sandwich (bone in). Very food mac and cheese. I like the collard greens (sweet). This is a family run business and the staff was very friendly. I will be going back! This review is strictly my opinion and views only. This food is very far from soul food flavors. The one pork chop (which I never finished) tasted weird. The only thing with great flavor is the gravy. The rest lacks flavor. Paying $16.99 each for these two meals was the final insult. Never again. Just never again. I miss Esther's Soul Food. I just love mom and pops like this. Everything I ate was fantastic (fyi, the okra is fried). And it's been so long since I've seen field peas! The mac and cheese was perfection. As a small business owner myself, I can appreciate another owner who takes genuine pride in her business. Please check them out! Where should I start. The prompt service was exceptional. I had an oxtail dinner. So much food until I brought leftovers home. The oxtails were fall off the bone tender. I also had mac and cheese, rice and gravy, collard greens and real cornbread (not jiffy mix)😋😋😋 I will go back. The restaurant was spotless with an A rating. I wish I could go there at least once a week. Good food, but pricey for average food. Nice place and people. However ... missing that wow factor. For instance, their collard greens were average, nothing special. For a Soul Food restaurant that is a major missed opportunity. Just my opinion and my wife has spoiled me. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My husband and I just left there. First time eating but want be out last. I had the smothered turkey wings, collard's and sweet potatoes. My husband had the smothered chicken, collard's and string beans. Everything was delicious. Some of the best collard's I've ever eaten. The overall staff was very welcoming and friendly. Ms. Mary who took our was truly a sweetheart. She made us feel like a member of her family. The food looked mouthwatering and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the turkey wings over rice, collards, and mac and cheese. Fantastic!!!!
