We recently visited the Flavours restaurant at the Devon Valley Hotel for breakfast and I can definitely recommend you give it a try as the food was very tasty. For breakfast they predominantly have 3 main options to choose from namely a hot buffet, cold buffet and combination of the two. All of us went for the hot buffet where you have a nice variety of different options ensuring you won't go home hungry. They also have a nice kiddies menu with cartoon themed names for the dishes, such as Tom & Jerry and Sponge Bob. The kids enjoyed everything they tasted, but their food took a very long time to prepare and the staff weren't really keeping us updated regarding how far they were. In the end all the adults had almost finished eating already by the time the kids food came to the table, and then their food was also still pretty hot so they had to wait some more. The staff however were still very friendly and made us feel welcome. An added bonus is the amazing views you get from the Devon Valley Hotel of the valley below, and although we sat inside as it was cold, the restaurant does have big glass doors all along the one side ensuring you can still take in the natural beauty outside. I have visited the flavours restaurant quite a few times in the past for breakfast as well as dinner, and after our last visit I will definitely be back in the future again. We have been to the Sunday buffet many times over the years, and even spent my dad’s 60th there. But unfortunately we have seen a decline in the food and offerings, especially for the entrée’s and dessert. And we actually did not like the desserts at all, especially that fudge. The carvery is still great and enjoy the guy on the piano. Not sure if they’re wanting to keep price lower and so not keeping the wonderful variety that kept bringing us back. Friendly efficient fast service, the food was tasty all at the right temperature, great restaurant. Cuppachino can be better, barista coffee machine in bar should be used for restaurant. My wife and I celebrated her birthday with a Sunday lunch at the Flavours Restaurant and it was simply Fantastic! The venue, the food, the service, the live music .... everything made the occasion very special. Thanks to the manager, Edgar and his attentive staff.

The Sunday lunch ! What a gem , amazing food and the oxtail what a dream. The service is exceptional and Edith and Charlton what a pleasure to be served by them . But all the staff is very helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back and I will say again the food is lovely and the chicken pie is a dream and not many restaurants have monkfish on their menus , so this place is worth the money and time.

The food is amazing as well as the atmosphere! Service is excellent and prices are good. The view from the outdoor seating of he area is gorgeous, overlocking the valley. The inside seating area has a calm, cozy yet elegant feeling. Staff is friendly and service minded.

Good location and view...sadly poor presentation and no idea of just simple tasty food. My guests has Springbok...very bland. Kingklip was ok but the chef did not understand the order...." Kingklip grilled in garlic butter...got cold garlic butter from the fridge.😫😫😫😫😫
