I hope this email finds you well. I recently dined at your establishment and wanted to provide some feedback on my experience. While I appreciate the affordable prices, I must say that I was disappointed with the ribs that I ordered. They were tough and not as enjoyable as I had hoped. Additionally, the sweet potato pie that I tried unfortunately did not meet my expectations in terms of appearance. That being said, I do believe that your restaurant still has potential to improve. I appreciate the affordability of the menu and would recommend the establishment to others. However, I do hope that you consider making some changes to the menu in order to enhance the overall dining experience for your patrons.

I can be really picky with food . And I am A BIG FOODIE! But don't let the outside fool you. These people are working with some serious flavors that I highly recommend. I ordered a large tender dinner with Mac and cheese and fried rice. I received collard greens instead of rice and collard juice kind of ruined the whole meal for me. The chicken didn't really have any seasoning. Ended up eating a couple of the tenders and gave the rest to my partner. Great food at a fantastic price. Totally disorganized place, so don't be surprised if orders are messed up. We've gotten 8 meals here, and only 2 have been totally accurate. Wings are killer, and the fish is delicious (although waaay too small an order).

Excellent , Down home cooking southern style ! Parking can be tricky but it is sooo worth it. More like cafeteria style but it is soo good and low price.

This place should be in the fast food category. I don’t like to speak ill of my own so instead I’ll give suggestions. If you’re out of items don’t just make a choice of sides for the customer. You don’t know the dietary restrictions. Take the time to call. If out of an item, take the time to call. Don’t cook so much Mac & cheese early in the morning and have that same pan leftover to serve in the evening if it’s dry. Same with the potato salad. Look into better quality ribs. I get it costs are high but I would prefer to pay $14-$15 for a plate of beef ribs over the $11.50 ribs plate you have now. I ordered over $70 worth of food and we barely at half because it was not tasty at all. Read your reviews and work on making changes to improve. FOOD WAS DISGUSTING!!🤢 Never again! Tasted awful & there was a curly hair in my beans.🤮 Mac & cheese was not baked taste worst than kraft mac & cheese, baked beans gross & watery, all meats were salty. The inside was dirty. The owner was nice but I will never go here again. Wasted money & was so disappointed! Gave all my food to a homeless person bc I didn't want it to go to waste but I felt embarrassed even giving it to the young man. HORRIBLE! Good old fashioned (in my view) "soul" food. I ordered the baked chicken leg & thighs with sweet potato (yams), collard greens & corn bread. Although heavy they were delicious. At one time I was able to try the Mac & cheese & it was delicious 😋. The ribs are great as well. This is really good comfort food. No parking. On a very busy street.
