If I could give this place 6 stars I would! This is HANDS DOWN THE BEST Indian food I have EVER HAD! We tried the chicken tiki masala, lamb tiki masala, butter chicken and goat curry and honestly, they were all TO DIE FOR! The lamb was so tender and mild my mom (who doesn’t like gamey meat) thought it was very tender beef. They all had robust flavor, a low-slow burning heat, and comforting savor. The flavors combined deliciously and nothing was overly pungent or too spicy (though I think you can ask for more heat). Prathyusha was the lovely server who greeted us with a bubbly personality and a contagious smile. She gave us great recommendations over the phone and was polite and professional. The only down side is after my whole family has eaten two helpings, we aren’t hungry for more! 😂😭 anxiously awaiting the next opportunity to visit Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was very flavorful, service was very good. I was greeted promptly, tandoori items were made after I sat down and brought to the table during buffet hours. Butter chicken, palak panner, Chilli Chicken and Tandoori mix were my favorite. Masada Chai was very good with cardamom!!! Naan and Tandoori meats - you can taste Tandoori flavor - in a good way 😋 I would recommend them for good tasting indian food with cleanliness and courteous service. I was so excited to see foodistaan in southlake . It’s new indian restaurant serving various different indian cuisine. We ordered chinese - schezwan fried rice ( chicken) 🍗 And we got chai ☕️ (compliment ) Unfortunately I didn’t get to eat chaat as it was off the menu. We tried this restaurant today after checking the reviews. My review: Less vegetarian options. Refill was taking time (20-30 mins). Some items did not even refill like Salad, Juice. Somewhat disappointing outing. The samosas were doughy and the crust was not as delicate as some other places. The lamb chops although generous portion was dry. It tasted old and heated in the tandoor before being brought out. The lamb curry was very flavorful and enjoyable but the rice was dry and unappetizing. Most places they serve a very flavorful spiced rice with their curries. The paneer noodles although unappetizing in appearance (washed out, soggy and maybe overcooked) was actually decent. The paneer was nicely seared and the noodles though overly soggy was tasty and would probably be just right the next morning Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

I hate putting negative reviews for restaurants. I try to be objective and move on. This was by far the worst takeout experience I’ve had for Indian food. Positive: - the goat curry was good. Negative: 1) I ordered Garlic Naan, did not provide. 2) ordered buttered naan with my food instead of rice - I got rice. (If the negatives were just this, not a big deal) 3) Chicken Tikka Masala was AWFUL. Burned small chicken pieces in masala. I could not eat it, had to throw away after tasting it. It was inedible and nasty. 4) Chicken 65 was over cooked. It was edible, but just a lack of care in cooking this. 5) I called the restaurant expressing my dismay. The lady justified that’s how the food is prepared. Nope!! I would recommend to avoid this place! Service Take out Meal type Dinner
