There are always primo offerings. I’m not up in this area often. But when I am, this has been my go to place for years. They’re really good. It really has to be the best Chinese buffet I’ve been to. And depending on the day and time, it can be a long wait. Today at lunch, there were several dozen offerings. They even had 2 shrimp dishes and 3 squid based dishes. That has to be expensive to prepare. If you’re in the area, don’t pass this place up. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I was excited when I arrived, I generally like buffets. Unfortunately, literally all the food was underwhelming. If it wasn't dried out and burnt from sitting under a heat lamp, it was bland, oily, unpleasant tasting, or some combination of the three. The peanut butter chicken was so oily, I had to press it into my napkin, completely saturating it. Even the dessert table was approaching offensive - somehow the chocolate chip cookies were unsavory, and the ice cream had no taste other than "cold". The light green ice cream that I presumed to be mint may have been pistachio, but given the lack of flavor, I can't confirm. A horrible experience for $17+ per person. Haven’t been to a Chinese buffet in so long but this really hit home for me! We came during the lunch special and it was only $24 for two people! So affordable and so worth it!! The meat was not dried out, the fish was fresh and not fishy, chow mein was so so good! And the ice cream there for dessert was the icing on the cake! I can’t wait to go back!

I have been to this buffet a couple of times, my first time was a few years ago and my most recent visit was June 27. We came a few minutes before the dinner buffet started, so we had the dinner buffet. I have been to the lunch buffet before, and I would say that both are worth it. The prices for the buffet are pretty reasonable, and they do offer senior discounts. The options available were great, and the staff was very attentive when it came to clearing out plates. Getting drink refills without asking was hit or miss for me, but it was easy to ask for a refill. I had a variety of offerings (picture captions will include what's on the plates), and was pleased with all of the ones that I tried. Some of the food such as the fried dumplings were a little cold, and the wontons in the wonton soup could have used a little more meat, but overall I enjoyed their offerings. They have food aimed for children, as well, such as chicken nuggets, french fries, and mac and cheese. The hibachi station was nice, though the offerings in that station were a little sparse when I went. I’m not sure if I did the station wrong but it appeared as if you have to add the sauce after it is cooked, which made for a soupy hibachi. I prefer mine cooked with the sauce so the flavors get infused a little better. They have a wide variety of desserts as well. I had ice cream and almond cookies. I cannot quite speak to the sanitary conditions of the place, it was pretty clean when I went, but buffets have a problem with items getting mixed into each other. Overall, I think that this place has a lot of great options for food, and the price is worth it. The service is satisfactory, and the experience is nice. A literal cockroach in my lemonade. Mold right above our table. The food that was once a staple has drastically changed in quality. Hard white rice, food is warm not hot or fresh sometimes even cold. The food has become very bland. I hate that this place is slowly turning down its quality. It’s only a matter of time customers catch on & start ditching. I have been around for over a decade coming here. Once I saw the roach automatically i turned to check my other cups & behold our drinks had spots of what looked like grease, as if the cups were not washed correctly or possibly MOLD. Won’t be coming back anymore. I’m very very upset. Didn’t get a discount either had to pay full.

A good, very affordable buffet ($17 for dinner). Nice selection of hot food, including whole steamed turbot, sushi, stir fry and the usual suspects. Also a great selection of scoopable ice cream. For buffets, this place is pretty solid. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Me and my family are regular customers of this buffet, we come about once every 2 months. Never have been treated so horribly. We were a table of 8, which I can understand is a little annoying being in food service myself, but it was around 8:20 pm and we had just gone trick or treating and just needed a quick bite to eat. We usually love this place and were in the area so decided it’d be a good night! First, we tell the host (some white lady Ive never seen before) how many of us there are and she quite literally laughs and goes “oh great”. Are you kidding? We’re there an hour before close, it’s not like we wandered in 20 minutes before 9:30. So we place our drinks and our waitress was very nice. Then we get up to eat, and some of my party realizes the food is literally ice cold and they turned off the heaters. One of the workers said “no we close” as we’re getting food. Their website and their sign says they close at 9:30? So confused and we’ve given their establishment nothing but respect. Unfortunately we left our food and drinks at the table because the lady was giving us such an attitude that I don’t know if I ever wanna go back. I know it’s not a top food place but jesus christ, acting like we’re a burden? I’ve never EVER left a restaurant but this was completely unacceptable. This is by far the best Asian Buffet I ever ate it!! My family and I come here at least once a month, often twice!!! My son and I hardly ever get past the very fresh, tasty Sushi!!! All the seafood throughout the restaurant taste like they just jumped out of the water!! The meats and salads are excellent also!! This buffet is always busy and a super-excellent value for a very reasonable price!! The restaurant is clean and colorful and the employees are very efficient!! This is my very favorite restaurant in Tom's River!!!
