Service was great and staff were friendly. The sweet and sour chicken was unfortunately very plain and did not have much flavour. No vegetables or even pineapple that is usually in a good sweet and sour. Vegetable chow mein was also watery and quite plain. Place was busy for fish and chip orders so I’m sure they would be good. On asking, the proprietor advised no pineapple in my sweet and sour pork. Never mind. Placed the order before asking if it came with rice or noodles. "None". Never mind. They must be confident enough in their product to charge $17. Nope. No veges. Just a pile of deep fried pork pieces in a pink sauce. Service Take out Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Fish and chips for Jane and combination fried rice for me were both very good. Services also good and hardly any wait for our food. Excellent value for money too.

First time buying takeaways from this place. We both had sweet and sour pork which was utterly disappointing. Mine had a thick black hair in it and the pork was so watery and flavourless. Easily the worst sweet and sour we’ve had. Gluggy white rice too. Tried calling back to complain but no answer. Waste of $40

Wasn't too sure when I walked in the door, place sorta looked like it was closed and very untidy/in disorder. Ordered Sweet & Sour Pork, asked if it came with rice, was told No, so asked for a side of Rice. Paid the price of two dishes but when it came out, only got one dish/container. They had put rice in the bottom of the sweet & sour pork (which I was happy with other than the expectation of getting two separate containers (1x Rice, 1x Pork)). However, the food was hot, delicious, tasty, yummy, amazing. Definitely will be back next time in Foxton

Very humble and lovely people, Always very courteous. The place may not be the most tidy one but the portions they give you for a takeaway is pretty huge. Bought a Veg Fried rice that could serve two. All other small stuff is excused as you are a budget takeaway. Thank you and will visit you again.

Tried 7 Different Chicken Burgers for lunch over a 7 day period to see who I thought had the best Chicken Burger going in Foxton both for value and quality. This Burger Finished #7/7. By far the worst Chicken Burger In Foxton. The Chicken Fillet was a thin Chicken Schnitzel. It was cooked in old oil that was burnt which put a burnt taste through the Burger. The Crumb on the schnitzel was dry like I had been down the beach and ate some sand. The Chicken meat was over cooked and dry with very little moisture left in it. The sauce was a typical sauce to go with a bit of lettuce just a mayonnaise. The Burger Bun was over toasted which didn't help the dryness of this burger. Of the 7 Burger I tried this was the cheapest Burger of them all by 3 dollars and for good reason its still not worth that.
