This was an intimate setup with the hostess; we talked for over an hour and she was very kind about my limited Mandarin. Can't imagine how much she'd chat with someone who is fluent. The tea was great and she kept pouring me SO MUCH compared to other tea shops. The atmosphere was serene with a fountain running in the background. FYI to any foreigners who aren't white, she had some expectations of what people from certain countries look like, which of course isn't uncommon, but something to consider whether you have the bandwidth for that kind of conversation.
