Cool place and nice to have a taste from home with western food. I got the veggie burger (really good) and my boyfriend got the beef burger. Chips, coleslaw and garlic bread were also really good! Nice change from local food. Gary seems a really nice guy too! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Wow! I just found this place and I was surprised with an atmosphere that I love it! Last weekend, I went to Vangvieng that I needed to chill and hang out with my friend and this bar was completed my feeling that moment! Almost customers were the foreigner which came to drink and played some game there! It’s cool! Because there has mixed the atmosphere between local and Irish style. Moreover, I could order my beverage with non alcoholic (Mojito was very good) Highly recommended!

We visited Vang Vieng 6 years ago and Gary's was the place to be for food, drinks and a good night out. I returned last week and nothing has changed. Gary's is definitely the best bar in VV and if you are lucky enough to meet Gary, you will very quickly realise how much of a legend he is. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Travelled 12,000 miles and ended up in an Irish bar, typical 🤷 Gary and the staff here are legends, made me feel like I'd walked into my local. It's funny how it's always the Irish bar where you'll find the craic and here is case in point. Place is hopping from the time it opens whether you are Irish or not this is where the fun people go, love it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Place to go once your hostels happy hour has finished! Great atmosphere and buzz in the place. After 10pm, the place basically becomes a disco! They also have all sporting events on their tv, so also a good place to go to watch football. Gary and the staff are great, even when the place was busy. Food was good too, bit oily but nonetheless a good change from curries. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

100 000kip hamburger........ The burgers were the worst I've ever had in my life........... It is a mystery meat...? Or... Fish and chips were delicious. Beer lao Draft was sold out. Billiards and darts available.Female staff are friendly... Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Great pub, an Irish bar in Asia that actually plays Irish music! Mixed in with other music tastes. Prices are reasonable and bar staff are friendly. Can't comment on the Guinness though as I've not tried it, no one else seemed to be drinking it either. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very popular bar in Vang Vieng. Staff were efficient and good at their jobs. Music was very stereotypical Irish when I went which probably isn't what actual Irish people spend a lot of time listening to (but i could be wrong). The range of drinks and cocktails was good. The energy of the place was fun and happy. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The owner is a great guy, looks after his own and makes sure you feel welcome. They serve a decent Guinness too, definitely one of the better ones outside of Ireland! Good atmosphere and always busy. Happy hour cocktails are very affordable and a really big menu Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
