Food is always good and big portions. Friendly waitresses. Great place for a date as well as a family dinner. I eat here once a week for a breakfast date. If you love and drink coffee this is the family restaurant to go to. Your cup will rarely be empty do to some amazing ladies that keep them filled. They have plenty of both booths and tables. Definitely the place to go to if you have health restrictions. They don't add salt to their foods which is amazing for everyone I know that has high blood including myself. Always a favorite for breakfast but I love their homemade soups for lunch. Been going here for a long time and love the staff and owner. Definitely a gem on the Northside. I use to like this place till a waitress went on maternity leave then they texted her saying she was fired! She was one of the best! Her name was Maria. But yet the other waitress that actually had an attitude more than 2x plus went to jail gets to keep her job! This is upsetting and the atmosphere is not as cheerful as it use to be when maria was there. This afternoon, I got the chicken and broccoli hollandaise Skillet with additional crispy bacon added, with pancakes. The food was delicious, the servce was very friendly and fast! My waitress was Danielle, she is the best! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20

First time here for lunch (ordered breakfast food). While the place itself was nice inside, the food itself was just ok at best. However-the service we had was very sub par as our server basically just took our order, brought the food, and then gave us our check. Looked irritated ever time we saw her and not once came by our table to check in. Better places out there for the price and we will not be back. 9 people and Cheryl was great taking care of us with such a busy dining area!! It was about 1 pm on a Saturday afternoon! Delicious food and always a great atmosphere!! I went this morning to have breakfast, as soon as my plate came I right away noticed a hair in my eggs,I told the waitress about it and she apologized and took my plate away to have it redone. When I went up front to pay my bill of $11.32 I asked the (I supposed manager) if they would be able to offer me some type of discount due to the bad experience and she said "no because they did replace the food" so I said "yes but you know it's a bad experience to order food and it comes with hair in it" so she then said ok make it $11 even, so I was like wow she only came down 32 cents! She didn't even apologized...that's just bad business...therefore I will never go back to eat there. Them cooks back there should be wearing hair nets! Bad experience 👎Lost a customer. A long time favorite in Kenosha. Sad that the cafe no longer serves dinner. Still, a broad menu. Their soups always hot & delicious. Breakfast always available..
