Alte is a quaint, beautiful town, situated between Sao Bartolomeu de Messines and Benafim. The village contains Algarve style whitewashed houses, fantastic pavement and Germano biciArte cafe. Upon entering the cafe, you are greeted by a beautiful smile, the aroma of coffee and delicious desserts. So welcoming, you feel as if you are coming home into your family. Not only fantastic service, but the desserts /coffee were perfect. Great location for local cyclist on bikes and motorcycles. Will definitely be here again, thank you for giving us a wonderful midpoint stop to refill for our bike ride!

This is a really lovely non smoking cafetaria where you can have a delicious snack and coffee, with a sublime view. They have a great sunny terrace, and they speak English. 👍😃 WiFi. It is also a bike repair shop.

Very nice cafe with bike parts and service. Had a flat tire with a broken carcasse - was really happy that i found the place - so bike got repaired, and i could enjoy a delicious Galao! They also have shimpanze food bars and Gels - highly recommended! See you there soon!

Very nice located Café in the center of Alte. Serves Food, Lemonade and Bike parts, helpful and friendly staff. + fiendly staff + bike parts and repair station + good location + clean

I have been returning to this cycling cafe since 2018 whilst on cycling holidays. The place gives me a warm feeling every time I go there. Great food, lovely owners and they can fix your bike while you have coffee! Love it! Price per person €1–5 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic. Great location and friendly. Pedro is a great guy and very helpful. His cycle clothing is good value and stylish. Repairs also available. Food very good.
