Yum!! GIN Ramen is absolutely incredible, hands down, no debate. My family and I tried it for the first time yesterday, a cold winter day is perfect for the soup and delicious meal. The Gin ramen has generous portions, and comes with a delightful appetizer that blew my mind. The short rib was excellent, the pork bun was excellent. Takoyaki was perfect and the Taro Mousse Crepe was to die for. I wish to have this restaurant close to my home. If you are in the area, this place is a must try! Great food and atmosphere! Service was exceptionally fast, the food came out VERY quickly. The pork bun was solid and the ramen broth and add-ins were excellent. My only complaint on the ramen was that there really wasn’t much meat but it was still super tasty. I would definitely come here again! This place is a vibe! It's not big so get there early. There is additional seating at the bar too. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing! So glad this place is here! I went for the first time today and it will not be the last. The bartender/owner J is super friendly. Although I'm doing dry January I heard other people raving about the cocktails so I'm sure they're good and I'll go back to see. I had boba tea which was really good. All the food was awesome and I want to try all the ramen they have. The gin ramen was what I got and it was great. Highly recommend, make sure you make a reservation if you're going at peak times it was busy. We were lucky to walk in and get bar seating. Ok, the food was OUTSTANDING! The atmosphere subdued and sophisticated. The Asian Hip Hop background music was an extremely elegant touch to the experience making it a great one. Service was friendly but a little slow on follow up. Loved it. Worth it. Very stylish and mature. Each detail in food, service and atmosphere has been carefully planned, coordinated and executed for the perfect dining experience for adults. Elegant atmosphere achieved by beautiful interior with comfortable seating and a blend of Asian hip-hop jazz fusion music. Service is impeccable. The food, oh so perfectly perfect. The ambiance at Gin Ramen is luxurious and authentic. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly. Best ramen that we've had in the DMV. The service was kind and attentive. We had a great experience eating in, and if you're looking for fantastic ramen, look no further! Suggestion: Please add Mushroom Bao Buns to the menu! This place is relatively new. I've actually been waiting for it to open since I work around the area. Now that it's open... I've dined-in twice and had 1 to-go order. The Gin Ramen is great! High recommend and is a little spicy (for me) for those who have sensitivities to that. But I liked it just fine The lunch special of Gin Don was not what I expected but it did the job! If I had to choose between the 2, I would go with the ramen. The takoyaki was also pretty good, especially since it keeps its shape when I picked it up and I've had plenty that turn to mush. Not sure if I would order the takoyaki again though. The bar looks like it's got a good selection but I've only been for lunch. The staff is nice and they keep the water filled which is great for someone who drinks a lot of water with their meal. I would come back to try more items but only for dining in. I recently placed a to-go order for the ramen and it was sub-par in comparison to the other times I've had it. Maybe it was a 1-off but the broth tasted like water, or at the very least it was heavily watered down. All the color was there, the noodles and toppings were fine, but the broth was not as flavorful. This will most likely be my go-to place for ramen if the next to-go order I get has the same flavor as when I dined in (sometimes, you just gotta eat in your office or at home). Overall 4 of 5!
