The restaurant has a calm atmosphere. Staff was polite. The food was OK, the portions are big. I ordered Fresh Salmon Florentine ($23.5). It has fettuccine with creamy Alfredo sauce, cutted salmon, fresh cutted tomatoes, and spinach. I would like to change saltiness (it was unsalted for me). I prefer the whole piece of salmon (the fish was like a boiled). Maybe fish crusp would be much tasty if they did crispy crusp). Anyway, it's worthy dish for this money. Also, I ordered Rasberry Lemon Drop ($13). Unfortunately, it wasn't delicious. I fell only alcohol every sip. I would like to feel some notes of raspberries and a lemon. The waitress forgot to bring a drink for our friend (15 minutes waiting), but excluded it from a check. Otherwise, the service was good. I ordered the spaghetti with marinara sauce and was not impressed it tasted like something I could cook at home myself from store bought marinara sauce. It had too much garlic, in it. The bread and butter was good, but if you want to come for the spaghetti get it with Meat ball or mushrooms because just with the sauce it was mid. I did enjoy the atmosphere, although the service was not great - first the host didn’t speak English than, I ordered a glass of water with no ice and didn’t get it, they told me to take the ice out of the glass that I already had. Ordered takeout smh.. at this point I’m like who are giving these reviews?Family members? I ordered the spaghetti meatballs and garlic bread. In my opinion this is not an authentic Italian restaurant. The spaghetti barely had any sauce and in my opinion the meatballs were too large which esthetically made me not want to eat them. The food was bland. Either it was an off night or the people reviewing this place just have no taste buds. Either way I was dissatisfied. Have eaten at this restaurant for several years and ate at FJ&L Too for decades. The hostess was very nice and accommodating and the service was very good as well. The food is always really good and you can't go wrong with anything that you order. The bread rolls that you get are very good and today I had the cheese ravioli with marinara sauce and Italian sausage which is made at their company New York Style Sausage Co. The ravioli was really good but there was too much marinara for me and I forgot to ask for less marinara. I also ordered a quart of minestrone and a mozzarella cheese pizza to go. The minestrone is delicious and the pizza really good. I'm generally not a crust eater but I can't help myself with their pizza crust. First off… exceptional service by Luis and his helpers. We were a party of 20 with kids. I know a large party can be very demanding and hectic but Luis handled every request with professionalism and a smile! You can tell Luis really cared about our dinning experience and his job. He showed great patience, described each meal with detail, repeated what we ordered and gave us updated times on our orders. Luis is a great asset to Giorgio’s! Food came out fast and everyone enjoyed their food! We had calamari and pizza for appetizers. We were so stuffed, most of our mains were taken home for our meal for the following day haha. Nothing but positive things from Giorgio! Thank you for making the birthday dinning experience an enjoyable one! *another plus … put on the Warriors game for us and the house bread is delicious (comes out warm) with housemade butter!
