My family and I stopped by Glenn's place for the first time since they opened and were overall underwhelmed. We were hoping some time to get their feet under them would be beneficial, but to no avail. The initial visit was just ok, not ideal for date night. And this one early on a Friday evening Nov 2023 was no different, except maybe some of the decor. The service was friendly and accurate. My husband ordered a burger, the only option is "build your own," so there's little creativity with the menu there. However, it was cooked perfectly medium, which is a rare find! I got the the "best ever meatloaf." And while it wasn't bad, it wasn't good and definitely not the best ever. My grandmother's definitely blows it out of the water. It is loaded with green peppers if you are into that. The gravy was nice, it went well with the crinkle fries. My cocktail was good, but not strong. Take that as you will. Finally, my son got the kids chicken tenders. It was also exactly what you would expect, which is fine for a 4 year old. So, overall it just fell flat. I loved the haddock chowder! It was warm, hearty, and delicious. Some other menu items were a bit pricey, and the service wasn't speedy, but the atmosphere was pleasant for a weekend lunch. Next time I'm in the area, I'll visit again just to have more of that scrumptious chowder. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The customer service was great, but forgive me the food just isn’t good and is terribly overpriced. I had a lobster stew that had a few chunks of lobster and some gross strange sauce. My wife had an entrée with some gross green beans and flavorless mashed potatoes. Don’t be afraid to use the spice rack my friends. Don’t be afraid. The fish tacos were a bright spot. I wouldn’t go back. I’m sorry.

Very welcoming and homey. Food was delicious. Haddock sandwich & the chicken pot pie both were great. We sat at the bar so service was quick & friendly. Most people greeted Glenn on their way in. It was trivia night in the restaurant and it was well attended & sounded like fun. It’s worth a stop if you’re heading to Acadia NP. Wonderful food....never go home hungry....Last Night I had Chicken Parm. NICELY DONE...CAME HOME WITH LEFT OVERS Lobster Mac and cheese and this photo does no Justice. IT IS BIGGER than a chili bowl... Huge and left overs we took home...There soft pretzels are PA style one big pretzel the size of your plate with cheese and mustard....Yum was the word..Oh and Wonderful Drinks THANKS FOR A GREAT DINNER Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

The food was excellent. I had a fish burger that was cooked perfectly, so moist, flaky & delicious! The service was excellent, the waitress was attentive & we loved the atmosphere. It's always fun to look at the decor & Glenn's Place has fun things to look at. We'll be going back soon! I went to Glenn's for the first time yesterday, I ordered a cheeseburger medium well, and paid 1 dollar for the cheese and 2 dollars extra for fries instead of chips. The food came out, the burger was huge, but there were approximately 15 small French fries on the plate. I bit into the burger, and it was raw inside, dripping red juice all over my plate. We didn't see our server for the remainder of the meal, so when she came over to ask if we were finished, I told her my burger was raw, she shrugged her shoulders and said sorry, then promptly handed me my 40 dollar lunch bill. Glenn's Place is a relatively new restaurant in Bucksport, Maine and every time we ride by the parking lot is packed. Today, we decided to stop regardless of how many cars were parked outside and see what the fuss was all about. I ordered a roasted turkey sandwich that came with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, a dill pickle, and chips. For $.50 each, I added bacon and cheese. For $1.00, you can add fries in place of chips. The turkey sandwich had a generous portion of turkey and was delicious. My husband ordered fried clams that were served with tartar sauce and a good portion of clams for the price. He also ordered a lobster flatbread that came with a nice amount of lobster on top. We didn't go away hungry. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, and the food we tried was good. We will visit Glenn's again when in town.

Went here last night the mai tai was awesome the fruit here is always fresh ,the staff is great the place is well kept and clean me and my family come here when we have extra money and place never disappoints ,my daughter met a new friend here .
