1) Convenient road side parking on a first-come-first-serve basis.
2) Attentive and helpful waitstaff.
3) Clean and well-maintained handwash station and washroom.
4) Ground floor dining area has a seating capacity of approx. 120, with tables well-spaced apart. Good cooling air distribution by using x4 units of ceiling cassette air-conditioner, and adequately ventilated with 10 ceiling fans. We appreciate the comfortable dining environment.
5) As usual, our preferref dishes are:
*Egg-smoothened bitter gourd,
*Calamary with pineapple,
*Laksa Steam Fish,
*Mantis prawn with salted egg,
*Fried porridge,
along with the drink 'Pineapple with Potato Leaves'.
We have been there multiple times, and will surely be back again, once in a while.

Popular Chinese restaurant that serves a good variety of different dishes. Better to make reservations especially during weekends. The curry stingray, bitter gourd egg and stew pork ribs were tasty. Service is fast. Parking can be a problem during peak meals time.

This place is crowded with local neighborhoods support (family friendly), please expect some wait for the food. But their service respond and customer turnover are very fast and staff service is good. Generous portion and price is reasonable. Seafood are fresh and tasty like just out from sea catch. Braised pork knuckle is flavorful and the assam sauce just got the correct taste of sourness assam. The stingray fish meat is soft and tender and we like the squid and octopus as well. We can choose the seafood catch from their counter inside, or leave it to their staff. They make good choice for our order, can trust on them. Can always go back and try their other signature dishes.

Never knew this place until recently. Had our family dinner there and the foods are actually quite good, specially love their steam fish, pork ribs, herbal chicken, salted egg prawn and soup. Also, their service also tip top and their staff are very friendly. Definitely will come back again.

Ordered the bitter gourd eggs, "4 heavenly god", marmite chicken, sizzling tofu, curry prawns with fried bun and also their fried porridge.
The food portion is just right, and price is just slightly higher. Total cost RM130 for 5 pax.
The restaurant is quite packed with customers and may need to wait longer time for the food to arrive.

Good Taste= Absolutely True. It's not only myself but my whole family including parents who are a little particular with eating outside was impressed. The food was immaculate especially the Prawn Curry+Montou & Tomyam Steam Fish ... added with super friendly owner and staffs. We really felt eating at home. Must Try Folks... you would never regret

Since it’s a long weekend, we’re expecting crowds and tourists in Penang island, so we went the opposite direction to makan in Bukit Mertajam. Aha! The traffic was smooth even during lunch hour ✌🏻
Came to this Good Taste Food Garden which was recommended by a friend, and the food really “good taste” wor haha!
We ordered the curry prawns with mantou, their signature steamed fish (回味蒸鱼）and bitter gourd egg. Everything was good and we enjoyed our meal 👌🏻 I added 2 more mantou too for the curry sauce hoho! But for Penang lang, if wanna compare, I reckon song river’s bitter gourd egg is a tad better la, by just a bit! Hehe!
