This location has gone downhill very quickly! We met another couple there - we were late, and the other couple had ordered drinks before we got there. About 10 minutes after we arrived, the waiter brought their drinks, and took our drink order. Approximately 20 minutes later, he brought my husband's iced tea, and took our food order. The food arrived fairly quickly, but I still didn't have my drink. I asked the server about it. He said he'd check. He came back, and informed me that they were out of ginger beer, so they couldn't make my drink. My burger was okay, but the bun was soaked with sauce, so it fell apart, and I had to eat it with a fork. My hubby and one friend both ordered the K. Lodge walleye - hers was a large piece, about 1/2" thick, and was done very nicely. My hubby's piece was about half the size, and so dry that parts of it couldn't be cut with a knife. He ordered mashed potatoes, but received sweet potato fries instead. My friend said that was just as well, because the mashed potatoes obviously came out of a bag, and had a skin on top. I don't know what happened to this location - it used to be good. The restaurant was not busy, but the few other patrons there could be seen looking around for a server to bring their drinks or their bill or whatever. I should have ordered the pizza. We had a large party in tonight and I was very impressed with the service! Everything was set up and a large container of self serve ice water was waiting. I had ordered the food (pizza and salad) ahead of time so it would be ready when our party arrived which worked out perfectly. The food was great and our wonderful waitress, Joanie, made sure we were well taken care of. All of the staff I encountered were polite and accommodating. I truly appreciate your efforts. Thank you! Ordered for take out. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich with extra dip. I never would recognize anything about this sandwich as an Italian beef sandwich except for the Giardiniera peppers. The meat looked like it was the dregs from the bottom of the French Dip pot, not Italian beef, and dry as sin. I had also asked for extra dip and was extremely happy to see that there was no dip at all when I opened my package. I also laugh that in the menu description it says the sandwich is "piled" with Giardiniera peppers, however, the sandwich I got I would consider more like sprinkled. I get to travel all over the US for work. So I love trying to find local places to eat at. It's Sunday and it's football day. So I wanted to try some pizza locally. I can say that I am far from disappointed. The cheese bread reminds me of how my grandma used to make it by cutting Italian bread in half. The boneless wings were very juicy. The mixture of the sauce with the pizza crust was divine. I would definitely recommend this to anybody visiting this area.

Horrible service!! We arrived at 8PM and we were the only table. We were a table of 3. No exaggeration we waited 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order once it was taken I had to go ask another 5 mins later if we could get our drinks from what I think was a host. We only asked for two waters and Mello Yello. We received our drinks from the host. We received our appetizer a bruschetta we asked for some plates when the waitress came back she came back with two plates and two silverware but then asks if we wanted another plate. We were a table of 3, my family friend said yes there are 3 of us why would you ask that. The waitress response was you don't have to be like that. It was an appetizer of course we sharing. The appetizer was horrible it was very hard not like I have ever had at any Green Mill. The rest of the interactions were very snarky with this waitress made us feel as though we were a complete inconvenience for the night while being the only ones that needed to be attended to. Got the lunch special of two slices of pizza and a salad. Both the sausage and the veggie combo pizza were excellent, and the salad was fresh and delicious. The blue cheese dressing was chunky just as I like it. Very good meal for a reasonable price. What happened to this place? We used to come here all the time. Now we show up and our favorite bartender Ary isn't working there anymore? Everybody running around, food took forever. Shame what has happened. Never coming back again. Service Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Not very time friendly. I came in to get a pick up and I had to wait at the front for 15 minutes (no exaggeration at all) while no one came to help me. I don’t want to assume that it was because of the color of my skin but by being the only one in the room with colored skin and not attended to I couldn’t help but feel that way. Bad experience overall. There was no parking left so I was illegally parked just to pick up an order that made me wait 15 min.. what if I had gotten towed?! Fix it.

I love this place! Just wish it were closer. It had a nice warm feel. Place it very neat and clean. The wait staff have always been very friendly and attentive. Their Sunday brunch is superb with much variety. It is well worth the price. The only problem is that I always eat too much.
