Great place for breakfast. The waitress was friendly and pleasant. The service was outstanding. We had a veggie omelette, pancake and French toast and everything tasted great and in perfect quantity. The prices were low which is a nice thing. It had limited seating and we were lucky to not have any wait time but by the time we started leaving, the parking was almost full and there are people waiting. Also note that they won’t accept credit or debit cards, so be prepared with cash. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious old-school diner food cooked to order. I have gone three times now and the food is always hot and fresh! The homefries are quite possibly the best I've had in years - the potatoes are boiled, sliced, and fried flat with butter on the grill. Crispy exterior, soft buttery potato in the middle. The bread for toast and muffins are homemade. We've had the same waitress the past three visits and she was great - welcoming and attentive. Cash only. I highly recommend Greg's Place! Can't believe we waited so many years to go back. Now that we've found it again, it's our only breakfast stop. Incredible food at an incredible price. Not a week goes by where my daughter doesn't ask about going. She said the home fries are her therapy food! The local chatter is always a good listen and the coffee is always hot and fresh. A small town/wayside diner in rural Maine serving breakfast only 6 days a week. Limited seating and popular with the locals. Keep that in mind and you'll have a 5 star experience. Don't expect a lot of frills. I had a great meal with excellent service. The only downside was that the corned beef hash is not homemade. Don't let the looks fool you! Breakfast here is amazing and the employees are friendly. The pricing is way below market rates. The wife and I drive just about an hour each way most every week to enjoy a breakfast at Greg's! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $1–10

We look forward to visiting Greg’s place anytime we’re in town. Food is exceptional and staff is extremely friendly and knows how to run a restaurant properly. It doesn't get any better than this for breakfast. Add a generous dollop of Maine hospitality and you have the makings of a fabulous meal. The fact that the locals all eat here tells you something. Prices are good, helpings generous, coffee hot and delicious. Anytime bwe are heading north in Maine, this is must stop place. You should make it one of yours too.
