If you have a big appetite, the big combination is where it's at. I could have been happy with two tacos. I ate for two days lol the food was very good, my coworker recommended this place and it was great. Highly recommend for sure service was great and food was even better. Very large menu. Everything that I have tried there was great tasting. It takes me about 45 min drive to get there so I don't go as often as I would like, but it is worth the trip. Dined it during a Sunday night- was seated pretty quickly as there was only two of us! Ordered pork fajita and the loco burrito and both were really delicious and filling. Being from Texas (El Paso to Dallas) I consider myself a connoisseur of Mexican dining. 😀 This is as good as many West Texas Mexican places and outshines most of the places I’ve tried in DFW! Props. I had Carne Asada and an enchilada at lunch after Brian’s recommendation. It did NOT disappoint. The enchilada wasn’t the New Mexico style red I expected, but it was really good. Brian was great. This restaurant is located right next to a Quality Inn which made it very convenient for us when we stayed there. The atmosphere is good, very colorful. The food was pretty decent but pricey but I think it’s regular prices for this area. The tortilla soup had good flavor and was filling. The parrillada was the hit though. It came with plenty of meats, rice, pico de gallo and beans. It could definitely be shared by two or three people depending on appetite. They serve beer and margaritas, but the margaritas are not made fresh per order. They taste like agave margaritas, not a fan. But they do serve ice cold beer. The service was good, food came out pretty fast. Lastly, the bathrooms were clean as well as the rest of the restaurant. If you’re in the area or staying at the hotel next door, this restaurant is a good option. We had a party of 5, 3 adults and 2 children and we paid over $100. The good: Authentic food Great portions Amazing drinks, wide range of tequilas Amazing happy hour drink prices and deals Food is always hot and fresh - visited 4 times in the last 3 months Friendly staff Quick service Fresh tortillas Chips and salsa are always on point, salsa is nice and hot the way I enjoy it Rice and beans are to die for The not so good: Some of the booths are a little uncomfortable as the seats are worn They need to cook the the Chile Relleno so the cheese is melted- happened once Some of the photos inside have a large amount of dust The outside building needs paint The not so good isn’t that bad that’s why I think they deserve the 5 star rating This place is highly recommended as it is a great spot for some really good, authentic Mexican food
