We stayed at the Campsite and went for dinner. When we asked for a reservation they told us a price for the buffet, which turned out much more expensive when we wanted to pay.
The food was more quantity than quality and we both had stomach and digestion problems the next day. We did not get a menu card and never saw any official prices, neither did we get a bill. Drinks were really expensive and food contained a lot of oil / butter.
If we had known, we would have definitely cooked ourselfes at the campsite. Halali is a nice place to watch animals, but definitely not worth going to the restaurant.

El resort es muy agradable pero no se puede decir lo mismo del restaurante. El precio es bastante elevado para la variedad que tienen. Todos los días tienen prácticamente los mismos platos: ensalada, sopa y las mismas carnes de siempre, que además no están para nada exquisitas. Otro problema son las moscas y pájaros que están siempre encima de la comida.
The Minister of E & T and the NWR should be ashamed of the condition of all the ablution facilities in the camping area. Dirty, not cleaned, attitude of cleaning staff poor, door locks missing,cisterns not working properly, toilets seats broken, soap dispensers empty and hanging off walls, water pipes fixed but not covered again, wash basins VERY DIRTY, mirrors missing, tiles broken and so I can go on. The camp is very busy and there are definitely not enough cleaning and maintenance staff for the volume of tourists. A sad state of affairs. Then the roads, they have not been graded since the last rain season, the reply from the MET at Halali - “our grader is broken”. For how long already. I also reported the condition of the toilets to the office of NWR but the reply was - “no budget”
