We dined at the Flowood Mississippi location on a Monday night for dinner & was very impressed at the quality of service received from the time we entered the restaurant, we were greeted & welcomed to the location,promptly seated by the hostess, where we were met by the waitress, where she took our drink & appetizer order. We had the Raw Oysters & they were perfectly prepared, the main course was grilled tuna & perfectly prepared medium rare & seasoned as well as the sweet potato crème brûlée, which was like a dessert for dinner & amazing. This place had amazing food and the server was very nice! But if you’re “people of color” beware!!! There were four of us and began to seat us right of front of the entrance. We replied could we sit in the back and their excuse was “there’s no service back there” although I came here to eat not get on my phone. One of the workers sat us in the back anyway and the other worker’s face was in slight disbelief. I could feel the energy… anWays food was great though 10/10 Service Dine in Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1

Went with a graduation party and (trust me) we expected a pretty long wait, but not a 2hr+ wait especially when other large parties got there after us and were STILL seated before us… the staff were courteous, but dragged this out a little too long. Our original number even shrunk because other family members were from out of town and had to get back on the highway. A lot of our entrees were warm/cold — pasta was extremely dry. Third time here and have yet to be disappointed. I always go early for dinner because I don’t want to wait. Royal Reds are divine…Redfish is fantastic (I’ll skip the potatoes next time but just bc I don’t do the carbs). Waitress did a great job but had a very very very VERY odd situation in the restroom…something I saw an employee doing. Not something I would put up with from an employee but I honestly could not find anyone that even looked the part of a manager so we just left. The place is nice. The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My drink, Coco Runner, was ok. I did not feel the rum😒.THE server Cree was kind of rude with the assistance renenered to her upon serving our food. The kids' chicken strips were a little big for a three year old. However, I enjoyed them with my New Orleans dish. Courtesy to remove used dishes was slow. We had to move them to the center to enjoy our food. There was a young man( busser) who was extremely nice. (Did not get his name, but I remember his face). Will definitely come back and ask for an extra shot of rum😀 *****UPDATE ***** I came back 12/26/23 and sat at the bar. I was intrigued at how Wendell and Jamaree were on the grill with the oysters. They engaged in conversation with me about the best selection and Wendell suggested the Mario,which is a combination of Bienville and Oleans Sauce. I ordered the shrimp and oyster platter. The presentation was not what I expected, however it was delicious. The Coconut Rum drink was excellent. Not to much interaction with my server other than asked ' am I good. My cousin's took me out for my birthday a day early and they picked this place as it's known for great oysters. They weren't wrong. We got dozen raw, and dozen charbroiled for appetizers. Both were delicious. Being this close to the Gulf makes a world of difference compared to KC. I got the Bacon Pecan crusted red fish with jalapeno hush puppies and turnip greens for my sides. My cousin's and their wives all got a sampling of what they offered. Nobody got anything bad even in the slightest. I finished of with Banana Foster cheesecake drizzle with rum sauce.
