my family and i love hammerheads, one of our go to lunch spots. i’m always in love with their sweet potato fries and cuban sandwich! my absolute favorite recently has been the boom boom shrimp, so much flavor. the staff here is the sweetest also!

The food and service are decent. And as a sports grille, they certainly do have an abundance of TVs! But I have no idea why they have sports grille in their business name. They won’t put audio on for NFL games on Monday night. Instead, we get classic rock from the 70s. I like classic rock, sure. But I didn’t know I was going to Hammerheads Seafood and Yacht Rock Cafe. Bottom line: avoid if you’re going to enjoy a game. But enjoy it with above average food at a reasonable price if you don’t like sports. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars was I only had soup and a salad. They were both phenomenal but I need to try other dishes before I can give a top score. I will definitely be back. If you are one more for seafood gumbo and/or a house salad, both were great and portions were plenty. Almost didn't finish both. I look forward to trying other items next time. Great place to go for food and to watch the game on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Wonderful staff and the food was amazing. We had the following and everyone in the group was satisfied with the taste and quantity: Grouper fingers basket; Ruben on rye, BLT and Crawfish Po-boy. This is before and after pictures. The shrimps and sausage tasted like paper,the potatoes were cold for a longggg time before even served…the crab saved the whole meal. My server is friendly and sweet but didn’t do anything about the food after I told her all these. Seafood still should just go back to Florida. We were there for an event and the atmosphere was pretty loud for a Friday night. Service was excellent though! Food was great. I had a dozen oysters on the half shell and a basket of fries. Wife had a house salad and a shrimp basket with fries. She highly complimented the salad and shrimp basket. She's a picky eater, too! I've never had a bad experience here, either. Me and my bestie stopped in here on a whim. Service was slow to be welcomed bc seemed they were short staffed. Ta le and menu were sticky. Started off with a 10 piece of flat wings have teriyaki and have barbecue. They came out piping hot. They had a nice crisp to them and they were pretty meaty. Also got the crab cake appetizer and they were yummy as well. For our main meal he got the blackened grilled grouper sandwich with fries. Delicious. Seasons great and cooked perfect. Fries where crispy and hot. I got the Cuban sandwich with fries and hush puppies. . Again, fries where yummy. The hush puppies literally melted in your mouth. Amazing. And my sandwich was meaty and cheesy. Only complain is it needed like a garlic aoli or something besides mojo sauce to dip it in to bring in the moister. The bread was a little to crunchy with not a lot of flavor. Gave dry toast vibes. But once I dipped it in my left over honey mustard it was great. Over all very good lunch. Need more servers and table cleaners during a Saturday tho. Left full with a to go box. And our waitress Sa' Rai was a delight. Helpful. Listened. Was extremely kind. Very nice Sports Bar. There are plenty of TVS and bar seats. The food, though, is not that great. Had the fish basket and the fries soggy and under cook, and the clawslaw tasted oily out of a bucket. Go here... sit at the bar... see Boomer... end of review. JK. It's not the end of the review. This was my second time going to this place. It's definitely a cool place to go to watch a game or to just grab a drink and some wings. I sat at the bar and most people were on a first name basis with the other patrons and the bartender. The calamari was good. The oysters were from the gulf, which are not necessarily my favorite. But they were fresh and good for gulf oysters. When I'm in town, you can find me at Hammerheads. This is definitely a Sports Bar and Grill with seafood. The bar area is LARGE. The TV'S are plentiful. And space??? A ton of it. Food was good, but the waitress left a lot to be desired, she was not as attentive as I would have hoped for the menu and atmosphere. And, the salads came out after being reminded twice and in the middle of our main course. Food prices are mid-grade which is Great for the quality of the food served. Over all, it was a good experience.
