Wow! Always, and consistently WOW! We randomly pick up a variety of slices at random times. Hanks is inventive, fresh and original. I've not had better cheesecake anywhere else.
The staff is welcoming, polite, and offers assistance. They're also patient as my kids make a selection at the glass cabinet.
The atmosphere hasn't changed, which gives a nice nostalgic vibe.

Banana Pudding Cheesecake
There is no better cheesecake in St Louis, the US, and probably the world around other than Hank's Cheesecakes. These are absolutely delish and will leave you wanting more with every bite you take. The people are friendly and the cakes are melt in your mouth every single time.
We've probably tried 90% of their menu and there hasn't been a single cake that has disappointed us. We've got their cakes for three birthdays, two anniversaries, we've gotten their cakes simply when we were in the area, and sometimes driven 25 miles just to get them. Yes, they are that amazing and I'm sure everyone who has been here agrees with me.
We love their original followed by their double chocolate, praline, white chocolate, amaretto, and strawberry. Also, don't miss out on their raspberry, hazelnut, almond cappuccino. You just cannot go wrong when it comes to Hank's cheesecakes.
The last visit made our day and that is why we just had to leave a review. Keri is a darling of a server. Unabashed for her love of tiramisu cheesecake and heck we had to get it. She let us take our time in picking, did not rush us at all even though it was just about half an hour to closing time. Thank you Hank's and congratulations on completing 40 years! Here's to another 40+ years!

My Husband and I just love Hanks strawberry cheese cake and carrot cake. It's always our favorite cheat day treat. Went back again and got the snickers cheese cake. All I can say is YUM 😋

We had cheesecake for our wedding and it was a huge hit. My husband doesn’t like traditional cake, so we thoroughly enjoyed tasting different flavors and selecting our favorites! Everything went smoothly from ordering to delivery. The team enjoyed our cat cake toppers and we adored the final result. We hardly had any leftover by the end of the night!

I placed a pick order for my son’s 17th birthday. We order the hanks original and all I have to say is that it was amazing!!! I also decided to try a slice of the turtle as well. It was also very, very, good. I will say the slices are smaller compared to Cheesecake Factory. The strawberry sauce that I purchased in addition was a huge disappointment. All in all, I still will find my way back because it was definitely some amazing cheesecake!!

Hank's Cheesecakes are absolutely divine! As a southern gal with a love for banana pudding, the 9" banana pudding cheesecake my hubby ordered was a delight. Its firm yet creamy texture, complemented by the Nilla Wafer crust and heavenly whipped cream topping, made it an exquisite treat. Not to mention, the beautiful box added a special touch. Hank's cheesecake is hands down the best birthday “cake” I've ever had!

Banana Pudding Cheesecake
While the cheesecake is wonderful, the retail experience is not. There is no pricing - the woman at the counter had to explain the pricing to each customer ahead of me, noting the price for different pieces, buy 9 get 3 free, $2 to cut, etc. I suggested they consider having a cute chalkboard for pricing - she said it would help and showed me the hand-written flavor menu scotch taped to the counter. It could be so cute if someone redecorated this place (took down the quilts hanging up and replaced with chalkboard menus/pricing) - it's not cheap (it's high quality) but the retail experience needs a lot of improvement. I heard them say it's open until 9pm each night - would be a cute and fun place to go for dessert, if there was an ambiance that didn't feel like a random deli.

It was absolutely amazing, I've been looking for pumpkin swirl cheesecake for the past two years and when I came here to have some it was the best I've ever had! My mom used to have their cakes when she was 20 years old and even said that her memory didn't do it justice and she was right. Will definitely be coming back again!
