Seems to be a very popular spot and the restaurant was quite busy when we were there. The food was good and I enjoyed the breakfast pancake wrap. Lovely spot across the road from the sea with nice sea views. Lovely little place across the road from the beach with seating inside and outside. Breakfast and off course the pancakes were delicious! It was quite busy at 09h00 but the service was great! We were a large group and mixed with a lot of kids. The waiter was attentive to our needs and was efficient. Pancakes were heavenly so they definitely live up to their name. It was busy but the wait was not long at all. It was a beautiful day and the atmosphere was electric. Definitely a place I would visit again. I had a bar one pancake but was very tempted by the savory ones. Portion sizes Re generous and well worth it for the price. The sea view is also very relaxing . The Heavenly pancake house is a stunning venue on the beachfront of Gonubie. They offer a variety of dishes but specialise in savory and other pancakes. Food is always very fresh and the quality is amazing. Staff are very friendly, helpful and the manager is always close by to follow up on tables and customer satisfaction. The atmosphere is amazing with views of the ocean only meters away. Umbrellas provide shading on the hotter days. Their establishment is run like a tight ship and this shows when food is already out to the table within 12 to 15 minutes of ordering and presented beautifully. This has become one of my favourite regular spots in Gonubie and is an absolute MUST visit when on the beach front. We are on holiday at Gonubie beach. My mother and I decided to stop by this popular Pancake house that we have known for years when we come on vacation. We shared a Chicken and Mushroom Pancake and then a Peppermint Pancake. (IT'S BIG ENOUGH to share with someone;haha) My mother ordered a cuppochino and me a Moccachino. We walked out with VERY full bellies. It's a LOVELY artistic atmosphere. I felt at home because I am a photographer and loved the art on the walls. The food was already great the day that I was there. But the service was a little bit slow, especially considering that the place was generally quiet that day (I was the only table whom haven't had food yet, and there was only 2 other tables being served) and I only ordered chips, but it still took them about 15min to prepare and bring the chips. And it was really confusing as it seemed as if no one, not even management, really knew what they were doing. The waiter who served me already printed my bill before asking me if I was going to order anything else, which I deem very unprofessional, as I also worked as a waiter years ago, and I was taught that you ask the table if they needed anything else and only print and bring the bill if they asked you to, even if it is your time to knock off... The general atmosphere can also be improved quite a bit. Hopefully when I go there again things will be much faster and better. That is if I will go again...
