You can’t go wrong here. We ate outside on the covered porch with a pleasant breeze. The food is delicious and made from scratch. They sell lots of high quality handmade crafts and art. Be sure to try the milkshakes.

Nice and cozy little place. Especially for children. There are farm animals to be observed and lots of space for children.
Their croissants are delicious.

It is such a lovely and peaceful place! On our roadtrip we spent more than three hours there with the kids. Just relaxing, having a light lunch and some delicious brownies, talking to people, marveling at all the handmade crafts and eventually buying some food we needed. The children had lots of fun on the lawn with the outdoor toys and the animal's (alpacas, geese and fluffy chickens) you can feed there.
We'd love to come back if our way brings us back to South Africa.
Such a quaint little eatery and gift store. Some farm animals to keep the kids entertained.
Some of the goods are made by handicapped people at Centre in Humansdorp, useful and eatables, so it doesn't feel like charity, which is good for the dignity of those people. You just feel the humility and wholesomeness of the staff and the offering.
Delicious baked treats and meals. So reasonably priced, and superbly made coffee. Because we didn't get the bill at the table, and paid at the till in store, I simply forgot to add a tip. Suggestion: bring the written bill to the table so that one is reminded to add a tip, or ask about a tip being added at the counter. It is a full service restaurant and I would have loved to have left something for the staff.
Love the ethos of the place.

What a hidden gem. We stopped for coffee and a small bite to eat. The salami and mozerella toasted sandwich was excellent and tasty. The carrot cake rich and most. The icing was super yum. We end up ordering seconds as it was so delicious! Our kids had a blast playing with the large jenga blocks. We also fed Echt and Leum, the two alcapas and the geese. (R20 for a bag with feed for them).
The shop itself was interesting. Not my cup of tea,but there is definitely a market for the products. The bakery items looked lovely. I've heard that the brownies are excellent and I regret not buying one for takeaway. But this is more reason to visit again.
Very nice place to visit. Good for kids with some animals to look at. The service are good and the waiters very friendly. The food are nice with good menu. Real value for money at this place to eat out and for breakfast. Nice pastery and bread available. In and outside seating with big grass area and parking.
Will highly recommend this place for a visit.

I ordered their scones and were very disappointed in them. They were tiny, like little muffins. They were not the usual butter scones. They tasted like bread. What was also sad was that they were served with one prepacked jam, those little jams in a sealed plastic container. I would have expected a dollop of homemade jam. Lastly, it was served with squirty cream from a can and not the usual clotted cream.
I was really disappointed. They are a bakery afterall

Wonderfully peaceful, nestled amidst towering pines and surrounded by lush, well-tended gardens. The grounds alone are worth the visit but the baked goods and friendly staff make the experience exceptional.
