The menu looks amazing and the description makes your mouth water, but the actual food wasn't good at all. When we walked in there were 2 tables of people and 4 dirty tables from previous guests. Took about 10 minutes to even be acknowledged that we were in the restaurant. The burger is extremely greasy, my veggies inside, and the buns were soaked in grease. Ordered the garlic fries and they were room temperature with chunks of garlic, not seasoned at all. Overall I wouldn't recommend this location as they specialize in burgers and both my wife and I were disappointed after eating here. Stopped in here for lunch after trying several other restaurants and got seated right away. The service was slow but we are starting to feel like that is the norm here the food was ok. One person in our party had the fish burger, I had a burger and mine tasted fishy so I’m guessing they cooked them side by side. Stop in a given them a try. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The server was very nice, but also very forgetful. I had to ask her 3 times for ranch and then I just stopped asking because she kept forgetting and I just felt bad at that point. She also didn’t bring my kids drinks until the food came out. We didn’t get any silverware or napkins until I asked. Again, she was very polite but just young and inexperienced. We still made sure to leave a great tip because it was obvious she was trying. They were also overwhelmed because it was busy and they seemed understaffed. We went on a weekday at lunch. The food was okay, but everything had a fishy taste which was off putting. I really liked the games they had available at for my kids to play. If you want instant buyers remorse and a sad dinner get the wagyu burger to go. I have been to the Hilo burger joint since my youth, it was somewhere my family went to celebrate while knowing we were getting a bang for our buck. After getting my medium rare burger straight from the char-pit several years ago I wrote the establishment off as another “overpriced burger”. They say hindsight is 20/20 but that statement was foresight beyond my years. I spent the day inside avoiding Black Friday masses and had not eaten anything all day, after getting my weeks pay around four I headed to Hilo for dinner. I see the night market and so on, than the burger joint comes up in my recommended food search. Hesitation washes over me but I see the wagyu is an item they hadn’t had years before so I shoot my shot. I ordered to go and waited a half hour. I enter the building wait a moment and was greeted and was getting my service. 22$ was the price of admission of this bewildering ride of a burger. Once I get to my friends house no more than 2 mins away. I sit down to eat the burger I had punctually picked up at the exact time it was said to be done. Soggy bun even tho no condiments were applied, one slice of lettuce coupled with tomato both these vegetables were not fresh. The burger was meant to be medium rare but like most things in reality that was a farce. As shown in the photos the burger is anything but evenly cooked or medium rare in any capacity except in one zone where the raw meat and cooked met in the middle to barely give what I needed. While ranting here I realize the only way a burger can be that unevenly cooked is if frozen. In conclusion I ate the whole burger arcade I’m just that hungry and can say that this is now where I stand McDonald’s>Burger joint Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 3

This restaurant, is DELICIOUS and we received the best service. We were in a hurry to eat before catching a plane back to Oahu and our server got us in and out within thirty minutes. So friendly and accommodating. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. Thank you so much! Seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time! I got the Southern BBQ burger and it was amazing. The fries are great too, nice and crispy! They also have a good local beer selection. Literally the best burger I have ever had! Great service. The Big Island Burger and the Teri Burger with provolone are not to be missed. And try the house sauce to dip your fries in. We tried this on a local referral and are SO glad we listened. Decent prices, great atmosphere. If you can't find parking, circle the block. They are worth it! Sad to say but it’s really hit or miss… First time there it was quick seating, food was great (what we ordered) but drinks tasted soapy and she wouldn’t acknowledge that we needed a replacement. Second go around took almost two hours (for two people), 3 tables seated after us ate and left before our food was even on the flattop to be made…when it finally came out,it was wrong and complete moosh, our drink tasted like soap again (we’re replaced) but the server knew right away and told us not to worry bout the bill. For burgers that cost $15-$18, it's really small and pathetic. Did they serve a much smaller portion since it was a take out? Burger King is a much better option in this case.
