Food was extremely delicious & tasted fresh. Servers were quick & attentive. It took my awhile to try it due to the location but don’t let that fool you, it’s a clean establishment with delicious food. My new favorite restaurant. So first off lemme say that if you’re on the fence about eating here go ahead and get off cause this place is amazing. We’ve driven by it a thousand times and every time my wife says she wants to eat here and finally we did. And good Lord I wish it would’ve been sooner. The service was amazing, I literally couldn’t even drink my water down before someone was there refilling it. They were quick, friendly and attentive. They took the order quick, the food was quick and it was super good. If you like spicy then get the full spicy, we were cautious and had to get extra spice to tune it up. Ordered veggie potato curry and tofu curry, garlic cheese naan and sumisas they were all bomb. Nasty good, highly recommend. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fantastic Indian food in the middle of town. Food is fresh and flavors are authentic. Best part is all dishes are balanced and not to oily or salty. Great vegetarian choices. When we came into your restaurant, I got the waiter/server's attention when I mentioned dear friends of mine in Nepal. I'm just learning the Nepali language. Please bear with me as I learn. Namastey. For my 75th janmadin, a sathi and I dined Himalyan syle. It was Maile adesa diem Takari. Seva mahana thiyo. Khana svadista. Dhanyavada! They even told me of the wonderful benefits of Mustard Oil. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and DELICIOUS! This is the best food in Coos Bay. We splurged and tried several dishes and all of them were amazing. My favorite flavor combination was the chicken Tikka Masala with the garlic cilantro Naan bread. The service was great, the food was amazing, and we highly recommend anyone and everyone to dine here. This was our second time ordering from The Himalayan restaurant & the food was delicious. However, we were disappointed when we picked up our order & were told they ran out of the soup that came with one of our meals & that they would “give us more next time”. Then, after getting home with our take out, we noticed the desert that was also suppose to come with the same meal was forgotten. We just aren’t thrilled to of paid what we did and not receive two of the items that are suppose to come with a meal. Aside from missing items, the food was great & service was friendly.

We loved it here. The host, our server, the staff here, was great. They were awesome with our kiddo. They were open to accommodating our requests (to modify one dish). And to top it all, their food was yummy. They gave us some Indian soup (aka daal) on the house while we waited for the food to arrive. We had the pakora for starters. For the main course we had Saag Paneer, veggie Tikka masala (with Paneer added) and butter naans. The food was very tasty (Naan especially!). Their price though, for the potion sizes, we thought was very pricey. Was the overall experience good - yes, definitely. Are they priced reasonably - nope. Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Amazing food and super friendly staff. The home made hot sauce is incredible (and quite hot) it is available to purchase to take home as well. The flavors are just incredible and the special plates have the perfect combination of ingredients. Great veggie options as well as amazing carnivore option too. This is a must try while in the area.
