This is a japanese specialty coffee shop that has there own roastery.
Coffee was roasted and brewed so meticulously that the coffee tasted smooth and delicious.
Staff were nice and very knowledgeable about the coffee and different types of beans used. Ambiance is also very welcoming and calm.

Specialty coffee enthusiasts would love this place, not just because of its offerings but because of the vibe of the cafe. I was told it’s the only 4th wave coffee shop in the Philippines.
Himawari boasts beans that are meticulously farmed and brewed to a high standard.
Expect to wait longer than usual for your orders.
They also have pasta and cakes. Card payments are accepted.

Cozy, welcoming, and serves great coffee. Their coffee can be had without sugar because they only serve medium roast. But if you want sugar, just let the barista know and they’ll be happy to make it the way you prefer. I’ve been here many times and the service and their coffee never disappoint.

The speciality coffee was very well done. We did the slow pour method. There are other methods of making coffee available here. The ladies serving the coffee and pastries were very kind and provided excellent service. The snacks were tasty and exactly what is needed to accompany the coffee. It was a welcome break on our road trip.
Coffee was good, I like that you have the option to choose beans, and the staff will gladly help you choose. The place was charming and quaint. Specialty pour over coffee will be a bit more pricey though, so please manage your expectations.

Drip Coffee
As the name says, it specializes for specialty coffee. For coffee lovers this is something you might explore. Unfortunately the coffee I ordered was just ok. Pls do note that for specialty coffee it is pricier. The cream puff though was delicious. Nice ambiance and instagrammable. It is just small so it could get crowded if there will be more customers.
I was disappointed. I checked out the place on 9 October 2021. There was no dine in, only take out. I'd bet the owner wasn't there. There were only 2 staff at the shop then. They what was only available was drip coffee, but what they did was actually pour over. When my coffee was being prepared: the vessels were not preheated, the filter paper was not wetted, and they poured they water very fast. I paid in cash because there were no other means to pay (no credit card, no GCash, no PayMaya). When I was handed my coffee, I was worried because it was not hot nor even warm to touch. Since there was no dine in, I brought my coffee to the car. When I opened the cheap 8-fl.oz. cup, it was only half filled! And cool already! It wasn't even a cool afternoon, and I haven't turned on the car's air-conditioning yet. I was thinking, "Is this the specialty coffee I paid for with Php250?!?" Also, I wasn't given or offered receipt. Hoping not to waste it, I sipped just as well. Near the end if my drink, I was horrified to see grains of coffee grounds at the bottom.
BAD EXPERIENCE.
You know it's a legit specialty coffee place when they say they don't have any milk drinks. This place is worth the commute/travel for any snobby coffee lover. Great staff, great tasting coffee freshly poured for every order, a wide range of freshly roasted beans available, cozy ambiance and setup.
