Open and remodeled - current owner did a great job with keeping the magnificent original bar and upgrading the interior. Well done and unbelievable low beer prices - I mean incredibly low prices! Newly remodeled, very old but newer looking on the inside hotel. Cool place to have a beer. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because there is no kitchen yet and also no draft beer. Those are updates I think the new owner is planning to make. We had a great time drinking a few beers and playing pool.

I was first here in 2009; they have completely upgraded and modernized since then. It is a great place, nice atmosphere. They were busy, but not too busy, and everyone was so friendly. Price per person $10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Avondale is a real treat, we always stop in (usually several times) when we are up camping in the area. They had karaoke when we went there last and it was a really great time, the whole bar was really into it. The beer is cheap and that's really what matters most. Will definitely return!

A little out if the way, but worth it. Quiet most of the time. Bartenders are cool, drinks are cold, lots of parking. Go down a few and shoot some pool. Prices are nice, but don't go looling for food.
