The Hotplate Grillhouse menu is a cross between African cuisines and fast food takeaway place. As you walk you are struck by the relaxed welcoming ambience. The decor is beautiful, African art artifacts are strategically placed on the walls with earthy colours. Animal skin mats embroidered with reed, placed alongside reed containers enhance the African look. Reed baskets are diametrically positioned next to brass animal heads and a corrugated bicycles enhance the artistic look. Light bulbs are encased in wire covers overhanging the dark ceiling. One can easily eat and have their business meetings in this place facilitated by the spacious tables and every table has socket in case you need to charge your laptop or phone. The service is amazing, the waiters serve with a warm smile and a willingness that has been lost in most service providers. The food is scrumptious though the portions could be made a bit fulfilling than the current servings. Overhead are speakers softly accompanying your meal with local music. On the walls are television sets mostly on football channels. It is a good place to be for both locals and tourists.

The food was okay, and all, and the kitchen knows what they are doing but the service would have been fine if not for the attitude of the staff working the desk and passing some "off" remark. Atmosphere not so great, it feels very empty. If you're looking for something traditional, it can certainly hit the spot. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The place is clean and welcoming. I just passed by a photographer doing my thing. But I'm sure I would recommend that you must gaze upon the place and enjoy what it has to offer

Me and my friends ate the beef stew but we all woke up seriously sick next day.I really hope soda wasn’t used to cook the beef. Please do better

It was okay but are you guys not selling 100% juices some of us we don't take fizzi drinks
