2/10/2023 What a great vibe!!!! Hubby enjoyed a cold ale and I sipped on a Mojito mocktail. Happy hour!!! His Angry Chef burger was great! Loved the sauce. Great atmosphere at night! It is a bit loud, but the vibe is really nice. The food and drinks are amazing, although kinda on the pricey side. It does get really busy, so just be prepared to wait a bit if you're fussy about picking a table. This is a really nice place to kick back in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy top-class burgers (and more) in a friendly atmosphere. The menu is extensive, vegans are very well catered for, and you can chill on the verandah with the dog if you brought it along. So far, our visits have been on weekdays, so be mindful of reviews that indicate that this restaurant is very popular over weekends. Just the outdoor experience i looked forward too... Caitlyn is such a sport. Being a vegan at Hudsons is not complicated at all. The waitresses knew how to work together when the one was further. My partner enjoyed the steak. Medium rare with the herded butter that made it a home run. Caitlyn's seoul vegan burger suggestion gave me that flavorsome experience I used to enjoy at the cape Town Hudson's when I used to eat meat. Wonderful experience all together. A beautiful and jolly place. Ideal for going out with family and your squad. But they take time to bring your food so be prepared to wait. Otherwise, Katie was a great waitress and I am now a fan of Steelworks because of her. Will definitely come back to try out more of the menu. Nice and cozy restaurant to go with friends to have a bite or get some drinks. At night it gets very noisy so be aware of that (you can choose sitting inside if that is an issue to you). Every Tuesday they make a 2x1 pizza offer, which is very affordable but unfortunately is only on some selected pizzas and they don't have a wide variety to choose from. I’ve made many visits over the past 5 years here and have never had anything less than an outstanding experience whether popping in for late night drinks or enjoying a lunch date with my family. The burgers are fresh and hefty, the sliders are great for variety, the shakes are decadent and the fries are delicious. We will continue to come and enjoy this wonderful establishment. We really appreciate the high chairs availability. If chicken sandwiches are your thing, they have good fresh chicken as well for these.
