Cooks at this restaurant do their best to provide guests with good bacon, omelettes and hash browns. Trying tasty crepes, French toasts and waffles is a nice experience here. Based on the visitors' opinions, waiters serve good coffee or good tea. IHOP is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Average prices at this place are good news for its customers. The peaceful atmosphere will be exactly just what you need after a long working week. But this spot is not highly estimated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

This was the disgusting IHOP I have ever been to. It was so bad the food was terrible. Everything tasted horrible. It was cold. The fries were super crunchy and not edible. The chicken fingers for my kids were horrible. They were still burnt and really bad the washroom disgusting I didn’t even want to go use it it was so dirty They need to do better service wasn’t bad it was just busy so I don’t blame the girl that was helping us. She was extremely friendly though Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

To start, we were seated with a dirty table. Next, I was served my drink with food stuck on the rim. Absolutely disgusting. Then the food was either cold or not fully cooked. Cheese wasn’t even melted (cold strips), biscuit was cold in the middle as well as disintegrated when squished, the pancakes were undercooked, and the chicken wasn’t cooked all the way. The place is unkempt and extremely dirty. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom I unfortunately had to use. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously poor. We didn’t see him for over 20 minutes. Would not ever return - second chance we gave this place won’t give any more. To explain the ‘second chance’, we tried coming here one time prior but stood at the front desk for 11 minutes - with servers and all personnel looking at us yet not saying one word - so we left. Not one person said “the host will be right with you” anything!- legitimately just stared at us. If I could give zeros stars I would. I need a shower just leaving the building. The food overall, was good. The hash browns could have been crispier. Their Country Fried Steak was always served on the side of hash browns, never on top of them hence, the steamed hash browns. They also use smaller plates. Their pancakes are much smaller, too. They do not have the flavored syrups (strawberry, blueberry and pecan) on the tables anymore. You have to request them. Maple is still on the table. The host and server were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a review for the Mt.Olive/Hackettstown IHOP. This place is tricky. Every time I have gone, I have gotten a table quickly, gotten my order taken quickly, drinks come out at a reasonable...but the food order.... It can take 45 min-1 hr. This is pancakes people. I just don't think they have enough people working as cooks. And I have gone 3 times in the past year...generally during breakfast/brunch time (10 AM -1 PM) The food comes out nicely done for the most part, but I can't justify such a long wait. Went for breakfast on a weekday morning just as they opened. Food and service was very good. The issue was the restaurant was freezing. They turned the heat off and it was 50 degrees and only got to 55 degrees by 8:45 AM. Just too cold to enjoy an early meal. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
